I'm about to get 60k feathers (already used the first 40k), and comparatively speaking I think it's sped up a decent amount, especially with the initial 10k feather giveaway+1k arena quests.

I've only used 22k feathers, and 20k was to get something to 5* so I could drop Death Blow 3 on Reinhardt.  I have a little over 40k at present, I think?

I know I'm saving 20k feathers for Xander when we get him.  Other than that, my 4* options don't seem good enough to upgrade.

To be honest that might be my option too... I'll hold off giving out anymore feathers....

I was wondering where you all got so many feathers given I have only 28k at the moment but then I actually bothered calculating where I used all my feathers.

So I guess I've used ~30k feathers, which puts me in the same ballpark. Those little upgrades do add up quite a bit.

I've been waiting on other feathering options until optimized builds come out after the April update.

I've spent something like 45-50k feathers on upgrades and have about 15k right now. They're definitely slow to gather, no doubt about it, but not painfully so IMO.

I guess a lot of that maybe comes down to the fact that I'm more or less willing to settle for less on my inherits and am mostly just spending them on upgrading things that I want to use at 5*. If I needed to 5* multiple things to get abilities to put on a thing that also needed to be 5* then that would be pretty rough.

If you have the SP, you can just buy the BB+ for her regardless of rarity. You will still want to 5* for stats later though.

I decided I won't be 5*ing Hana for Life and Death 3 though-- 2 seems balanced enough. Setsuna's already squishy enough as it is, I don't need to make her squishier. (So I may consider Fury instead. Hmm.)

What's the ideal boon for brave bow setsuna?

I'm not entirely sure, but since she's so ridiculously fast and has pretty good atk (and, while low, her defenses are balanced with higher than average RES for archers)-- so she can survive the drop in SPD that the Brave Bow gives and still quad-hit and not be doubled quite so often. As for inheritances, I haven't totally decided outside of Brave Bow+ and Life and Death/Fury for A. Vantage would probably be pretty great for B. Maybe Savage Blow for C, to soften up other units? I'm not super sure yet. As for Special... probably Moonbow, for near-guaranteed activation per combat? Sacred Cowl would work nicely too, or maybe Miracle to make up for her squishiness. As for assist, probably a movement one that helps her get closer/farther away.

Fury seems like one of the better abilities in the game, yeah. I can't think of a reason why it shouldn't work similarly well, but it has the upside of dealing damage to you to allow your guys to heal and charge their support abilities or use Ardent Sacrifice to get down into Desperation range or whatever.

You can get Fury 3 off Hinata 4*, which is nice.

Seems +spd setsuna is what's causing all the rage and her spot on the tier list along with her nickname quadsuna.

e: +atk seems to work too. You lose out on doubling some of the faster units in exchange for dealing more damage. Seems like preference and what buffs your teammates can carry or something, I don't have one so can't suggest one or the other.

The more I think about it, the better Fury sounds for Setsuna, as it gets her closer to Vantage range. And it doesn't have the downside of massive defense drops.

Do iiiiiit! That set sounds badass. Maybe plan on packing a buddy with Desperation and Reciprocal Aid too if you can find something synergistic with an appropriate HP number to trigger after Setsuna attacks a few times.

If you're not a whale, you'd be hitting a pretty tall wall as far as merging allies goes with these. Maybe I shouldn't pull...

For what it's worth her abilities are really mediocre. That can be adjusted with inheritance obviously and her stats seem great, but her super special event ability (boosting number of badges gained from the training tower) is beyond useless,and getting SP for her is going to be a chore.

As for flying mages, I can only assume we will be getting more, yes. They're not common at all in Fire Emblem, in fact Camilla is probably one of the few (only?) notable ones, but they do kind of exist.

Picked up Easter Lucina after 31 orbs. I heard that the chance for a 5 star on blue/green is just over 10%, so was only rolling those.
