I would really like to do that. I play the PC-98 games and I think they're pretty good. But as far as I know, there's no way of playing online. I might be wrong though.

There is none as far as I'm aware. But I can say for sure it would be literally the best thing in the world!

If there was a way to have online play in PoDD, I can imagine I'd do matches all day long against people. Sadly there is none as far as I am aware of; local play isn't that convenient either. Either you use one keyboard or a keyboard and another input (I think there was a program for that but I forgot the name.) but it is not optimal.

If there ever is netplay, I would definitely be pretty happy with it.

If the game itself doesn't support any network gameplay, then you'd probably need some software that remotely shares the screen and keyboard. Can't imagine that working very well, though...

Some emulators from only-local consoles (like snes and genesis) have actually an option to share the screen and controller, being able to play as multiplayer

if someone have knowledge to adapt the network module of zsnes 1.49 to xnp2 (the only PC-98 emulator which is open source), this can be done and not only PoDD but all pc-98 games which allow local multiplayer can be used on the emulator
