I'm not familiar with taoism, so i can't go into details, i should study it a bit.

And given a non-trivial number of the aristocracy arose from samurai who were able to assert themselves long enough to be accepted, her lineage is much more likely to have nothing to do with your court at all, let along your own lineage.

I was mostly thinking as to show her that she isn't the best choice for such an important position if Meira didn't even know where to start when she attempted that. (And i guess i got a bit curious ~~Who can tell that Miko wouldn't get either thought ?~~ )
