Touhou Dreams Thread

I woke up light 20 minutes ago. Had a bowl of Fruit Loops while i pieced this dream i had together @_@ alright here goes....

I was at my house with my family. For some reason we had to move away from the area...and FAST. They was rushing to get everything they valued most to fit in the one car we had. My mom kept telling me to shut up and pack something so we can go. And that they was already out at the car ready to go. I'm thinking there's a bomb threat or some war about to come in the area very very soon. I dunno.

So I head to my small room and pack as best and tetris style I could my Ipod radio dock, some clothes, my laptop, my yu-gi-oh cards. my Rumbling Spell Orchestra cards (Touhou card game I've been working on. don't have them printed yet but intend to), my touhou illustration books, and my DS. My hardest thing to pack was my Touhou plushies cause i have so many of them. I ran outta room in my bookpack so i went for paper bags and neatly sat them in there. During the time my mom was honking her horn to get me to hurry up but i was going as fast as i could.

By the time i finished i went out to the door and saw the car was empty and their stuff all over the place and zombies was pilfering it and all over the place. My heart sank cause I had no idea a friggin zombie apocalypse was gonna happen ;~;. No idea if they was dead or ran away, i nearly fell down the stairs and the zombies noticed me. They looked like the witches from Left 4 Dead only with long drooling tongues and large glowing yellow eyes.

I tried to run back to the house but suddenly my bookbag got caught on the railing somehow. I was holding onto my Remi plush for dear life then when suddenly i heard an explosion and looked back and saw Alice and Marisa guarding me. Suika was stomping on zombies heads like she was playing hopskotch and Remilia was in front of me holding Gungnir. Confused yet amazed i eventually noticed that my paper bags where my plushes where and the Remi plush i was holding was gone! I was lead to believe that my Plushies came to life as the real thing to protect me. I knew for sure cause when it was over the Remilia hugged me afterwards and she has this red and black scarf on that looked like my hat that i've always put her in.

I then started a quest to find my family through the zombie apocalypse of the city of Chicago....that's all i remember

I'm dam sure that last part was from Touhou Pocket War. I was playing it before i went to bed. And I'm sure the Left 4 Dead like setting came from my hamachi friends talking about it/playing it nowadays.

Ah,so many dreams I've had since I first started playing. I'll start with one of my more memorable ones...

I remember being in Gensokyo and hearing Yukari talk about something happening in the outside world that was going to force a lot of people into Gensokyo. No one knew what to do and kept arguing (this was taking place on the Palanquin Ship, so you know.) I then mentioned having a sort of festival type thing to keep this large amount of people satisfied and we ended up arranging a very wide spread, wild sort of convention/expo that involved both shrines, the SDM and the Palanquin Ship itself. Eirin declined having so many people at Eientei but was happy to help with other things. Events took place at each venue on certain days and, to cut down on people wandering around, Yukari set up a 'gap system' to allow the people to go to whichever venue they wanted. When everyone did arrive (still not sure what caused it) it was just so much fun. People actually donated money too; I remember seeing Reimu's face crying at some point when she was looking into her box.

My alarm woke me up from it though, and I cursed it greatly. ><

I know this will probably be wrong but if Touhou 13 is a sidescroller on a jungle river and somehow a Vietnamese pig shop has married with the Komeji household then I am some sort of prophet.

My latest dreqam involved Sanae; and normally I don't dream about Sanae. But I remember falling asleep after listening to Pray by IOSYS, so it probably went hand-in-hand.

Anyway, I dreamt that Kanako and Suwako had both vanished from the shrine. Not sure how or why, but they were nowhere to be seen. I found Sanae, who seemed to be a lot different than her usual self. I won't say everything that happened in it otherwise I'd start writing a story. In short, Sanae had now become the God of the Shrine; therefore, no longer human. However, this meant there was no shrine maiden. So I said I would go and search for a human to become a shrine maiden; until then, she would have to make do with a temporary maiden. To which Cirno popped out in an aqua shrine maiden attire and I instantly woke up.

Oh Cirno, stop presenting yourself to me in a shrine maiden outfit.

Recently, I had a dream were my friend drew a picture of Sakuya and I asked her if she can show it to me. And then when she showed it to me it was a naked picture of Sakuya and there was an arrow pointing to her boobs saying "sore from wearing PAD". Then I got pissed of and I was like "SAKUYA DOESN'T WEAR PADS!!!!!!!" (I hate the pad joke. Sakuya deserves better than that D:). Then we had this epic danmaku battle but then my friend kicked my ass with some spellcard having to do with colorful rainbow kicks.

I had a dream in which I was held captive in the Scarlet Devil Mansion for some unforgivable crime.  Remilia was planning to kill me in a matter of hours and I was in despair. Suddenly Alice broke into the mansion all action movie-like in hopes of saving me. She took on the entire crew of the SDM with her Goliath doll while we were on an epic car chase grand-theft-auto style. I was like  throughout the entire battle.

I had a nightmare that I got run over by Yukari's train. I can't remember all the details, but it was a bit gory so I think I'll just leave that out.
Although I had a better dream just last night. These coins were pouring endlessly out of a vending machine that I was trying to get my change back from, when all of a sudden, Marisa flies in and scoops all of the coins up in a sack. Then I woke up.

I dreamed that I was testing out a Reimu costume, and was walking around several places with it on.

I know Reimu's one of my faves, but I don't know what to make of this. There are others I'd rather cosplay before her.

Had a dream I was back in High School. Shou was there trash talking all the football players, which was so hilariously awesome that I hugged her around the waist. She looked down at me with a smirk and we walked home together. Then I woke up to pull the blanket off me because it felt like a friggen sauna in my room. :S

I was in some factory setting or something - It felt a lot like a  video game level. There was me, Yukari, Suika, and some other person who was probably also a Touhou character who eventually went away from the dream.
It was like a free-for-all battle, but I, staying away from the fight, ended up rooting for Suika. Apparently, Yukari was some antagonist whose powers could only be countered by Suika's. There was a black hole or two, but I couldn't figure out if they were Yukari's or Suika's.

I've been trying to experiment with lucid dreaming, to see if I can get some things to go my way for once.

It's funny, because (not to sound like a sad sad neet or something) I've been trying to get Yukari to appear in my dreams to take me away to Gensokyo, and I actually got a gap or two to show up.

The mind is a weird place in it's own reality.

Closest I got to a Touhou-related dream happened a while ago.  My memory's hazy, but I could have sworn Sakuya was in it.  However, she was a minor character; Kanade Tachibana was the main girl and for some reason I remember Ritsu being in it also.  I have no idea what the dream was about , though. ??

My latest dream was really weird as regards to the characters involved in it and the situation we were in. The characters featured were...

Eirin
Kogasa
Elly
Tewi
Koakuma

Patchouli made an appearance round the beginning but I didn't see her after that.

Anyway, we had all just docked onto this very weird structure. As we went through, some strange looking creature attacked us and we all split up; Tewi went with Elly, Kogasa followed me and Eirin fought the creature. I remember going through these very strange (and fatal) obstacles before fighting off a guy who resembled someone from a book. We ended up meeting up with Tewi and Elly, who said Koakuma got lost somewhere. That's when a huge demonic sort of dog came out and attacked us. I ran off through the corridor it emerged from to fight the host of the place we were at; apparently he was the reason the planet we were on had become what it was.

The dog was beaten by the time Eirin finally emerged from her fight; bringing up a huge bell that we had spotted on the first floor. Apparently, if it was fixed in its right place and sounded, we could defeat the host for good. Of course, that meant tying it up first; which Elly managed to do while Kogasa and Tewi held it in midair. The host had dropped down to the first floor after the old bell landed on him; so he was pretty pissed when he finally returned. Eirin kept firing shots at the host whilst I recovered from being thrown through the roof.

Kogasa ended up being shocked by lightning by the host and was sent through the holes he had just gone through down to where we started. Tewi was sent flying and impaled on a huge piece of wood that had broken during the fight. Eirin almost beat the host herself but was caught by some other unknown creature and dragged into the sea beneath her. I remember seeing a lot of blood after that, so I guessed she must have died. As it came back to me and Elly, the giant bell we were trying to ring finally did so and the host began to look human. When he finally did, Elly sliced him in two and killed him. We finally went back to the main hall to find Koakuma and two new people I didn't recognise. We found Kogasa on the first floor, who was wounded, and as we tried to leave, the place started to give way as the same creature Eirin fought before came back. Kogasa told everyone to leave so she could buy us time, which I refused but finally gave up and left with the others.

Then Yukari decided to gap us into her room and I pretty much yelled at her.

Reimu is doing something, I stand there, then she holds out her hand, then I realize that I'm looking into Gensokyo.
And then... Yukari shows up and dumps me back in the real world.

My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I remember dreaming that Sakuya is killed off from the series, and by killed off, I mean physically dead.  Tthere might be another character that got killed off, but I can't be sure...

I also had a separate dream where I have a audio drama that features Ruukoto as the main character, and it takes place during the Windows series, I believe.  The audio drama came in the form of a radio cassette.

Last night when I was almost-but-not-quite asleep, I had a really short one.

I was in the Scarlet Devil Mansion, and a car was nearby because someone I knew was going to drive me back to some other place. But they couldn't make it for some reason, so somebody from the SDM crew was going to drive me instead (who it was is the only thing I can't remember). She was making a big entrance involving some kind of big magic symbol being drawn when I woke up.

I think I woke up because I got too lucid, though as I wasn't completely asleep I was slightly lucid the whole time—I remember, in the dream, being happy about finally having a Touhou dream and even planning to post about it in this thread.

I tried having a lucid dream with Yukari once. Either me with gapping powers or one with her having some reason to take me to Gensokyo(too). =P
Instead I got one where I was Mokou. At my house. Except it was.. My room was smaller, and the living room upstairs was wider. And everything was tinted orange like it was sunset and the walls were made of curtains. Oh, and there were zombies. XD
I'm not a real fan of zombies, so it's random they appeared in my dream. Really it was some sort of virus that you got from touching someone already infected. How or why 10+ people/zombies got into my house, I have no idea. Why I left my room, went upstairs into the living room, and had fun dodging them, I also- Oh, yeah. I forgot, I was like. Semi-lucid. I was thinking something along the lines of "I want to abuse(lack of a better word) this while I can", referring to her immortality. So basically when I should've been somewhat concerned, I was having fun playing tag with everyone(by now, they were indeed all zombies. Though I'm not sure how a virus tatters your clothes.) against me. I remember towards the end I tried to kind of dive out of the way into the kitchen, but my arm brushed one. My arm got zombified, like for the others, from where you got touched through your whole body. But after it got past my elbow(in less than a second) the whole outside-appearance shattered off like it was paint, leaving my(Er, Mokou's?) arm as it was. I remember I had a total "Oh, you're dead now" smile when I realized it was the immortal-ness. (Quote from the Hourai Elixir thing saying you won't become ill popped into my head.)
Then of course, when I was about to actually start abusing my immortal-ness and likely power over fire, I woke up. I was like. O_o (Happy I remembered my dream, sad it wasn't actually a lucid one, happy I got to be any Touhou character in general, sad I was awake now.)

Wow, if I'd realized I remembered that much, I'd have wrote it in my dream journal. Little late 3 days later though. =| Also, this is one of my more makes-sense dreams. My usual ones are too messed up(disturbing), random, or just completely fragmented to write down, here or my (Wordpad? XD) 'journal'.

I remember one from a long time ago.... about 5 months ago.

In a portion of the dream, I was running in the forest to get to a train station where a train was that me and group had gotten off of earlier. I was about 1/2 of a mile away when I spot Kaguya sitting on a log crying. She said that she couldn't find her way around. I let her ride on my back as I went to the train station. I get there and the sun is setting. I take her on the train, but she says she can't go along. I get a peck on the cheek and then.....

I woke up. I was sad once that happened. The dream was getting so good... I guess I wasn't supposed to go the rest of the dream...

Only one of this part is really related to Touhou, and it comes near the end, so there's a bit of explaining other things beforehand.

I had a dream that I was exploring some underground area with a group, but we got captured by a tribe living down there. We were apparently split up and, I'm guessing, forced into different tasks - mine was to perform songs on stage. I had to dress up in some foreign, orange-and-purple version of a jester's outfit. I was due on stage soon, and I had only listened to some rhythm beforehand. On stage, I was hopping around slapping my legs and clapping my hands in an improvised rhythm (based on the one I heard earlier). No extra music sounded, but fortunately the small audience noticed that too and were lenient enough to let me stop after like half-a-minute. We ended up talking for a bit before the rest of my entourage showed up: four people dressed in different colored outfits that kind of gave off a (modern) Japanese feel. We all became excited that we could finally practice together, and we went backstage to take another look at our parts. Somehow, mine was lead vocals, despite the fact that, in real life, I'm very uncomfortable with singing. I didn't mind as much in the dream though. Listening to a recording of the song, it was sung in the style of a J-pop song with female vocals. And me being a guy, that would be tough, even with "dream physics" altering my voice a bit to match. Now here's where the Touhou bit comes in. As I learned to sing to the right notes, I noticed that one of the phrases vaguely sounded like a portion of "Faith is for Transient People". I was a bit more focused on getting my part right to give that much heed in the dream, and I woke up when we were called on stage again.

I had a dream that I worked with Aya in a same place. I sell books in a book store and we were co-workers. With her it was really enjoyable. Quite a short dream.

Had a dream where I was rooming with Suwako and (I think) Kanako. It was weirdly vivid considering my usual fail of imagining 2D characters in 3D.

I dreamed that I was on this university campus in a Town With A Secret, said secret being enforced using tranquilizer-darts and memory-erasures to ensure that it seemed like All Just A Dream (and it also supposedly resembled the Dark Hour from Persona 3). It started out as more of a MGS3 dream, with me sneaking around and instantaneously switching camoflage and one guy getting a "!" over his head when he saw me.

The reason I'm posting it here is because Aya was there and helped me out with investigating it; at one point, we were driving along in this car and she was going way over the speed limit, thus attracting police who were apparently also in on it, because the next thing I remember in the dream was being held down by several hands while blindfolded or something.

I can vaguely remember the danmaku, and it seemed like Extra stage. Never got to the boss :/

Many interesting and detailed dreams are here. I've just woke up from my nap so I think I can remember my dream pretty much good (It's 9:53 in Indonesia ). My hands are still shaking.

I don't really remember how it started out but somewhere in the dreams I was with CIA agent Hudson trying to recover intel about codename "Fire curtain" (Played too much Black Ops, yeah, I was wearing an eye-patch so I think I was Weaver). I know it should have been in Mt. Yamantau but the Fire-team inserted to an area called "Lotus land". I am holding the old Arquebus (French-revolution era rifle) while everyone else has a caseless Steyr ACR rifle. I asked Hudson "Why am I having this shit?" but he said "Sssshh! Fairies in-bound!" and I was like "What the F*ck!?" but I figured out I can do nothing about it and just dig in and that is the moment I realized I am wearing Sanae's clothes and I glanced at the rest of the team, Hudson is wearing a Reimu costume, some kind of guy with balaclava is wearing a Sakuya (Or Marisa, can't remember), and another guy is in Marisa costume (Or Sakuya, can't remember). Hudson suddenly shouted "The Fairies spotted us! Open fire!" and he threw his ACR to one of the fairies and exploded like a bomb in Mountain of Faith, the balaclava guy grazed some danmaku and did something, Knife-throwing if I'm not wrong (Then he's the Sakuya). One of the fairies (Cirno I think, it was too loud and too fast for me to recognize her) hit me with, a rock, ice-cube? I don't remember, something hard and heavy and that is where I woke up.

My hands are still shaking, dammit.
