This has to be my very first full-fledged Touhou that actually makes some degree of sense.
It appeared to be a dream about Touhoumon or some Touhou RPG....except in 3D and with gorgeous animated cut-scenes and some crossover elements too. Some parts at the beginning are a bit fuzzy, but I can still remember the last part well. Considering none of the girls talked and instead communicated with facial expressions and cute noises I'm pretty sure it was Touhoumon.
The part I remember had me traveling through an icy cave with Cirno by my side. One of the parts I remember prior to that was a RPG battle with a mad Utsuho, who there after had disappeared. Another part had me referred to as Red (I couldn't make sure if I was indeed Red, since I didn't get a chance to look myself over), and that I had to find clues where my 'brother' was (or else face a bad ending). After traveling through the cavern a bit we stumbled upon the exit, which lead us to the top of a frozen mountain with a lake in at the top, with dark, snowy clouds hanging over it. In the distance another icy mountain could be seen, but this one looked a lot more malevolent and was enveloped by a snow storm. A frozen house was on an island in the lake.
The only living things at the lake were, surprisingly enough, the penguins from Super Mario Galaxy. :/ They pointed towards a corner of the lake, which had the ice around it melted and even a lot of flowers were blooming there. The water seemed warm, so Cirno and me investigated what the source of the heat was.
It was Okuu's damaged cannon....
I myself thought the worst, but Cirno stayed determined and jumped into the lake to search for Okuu there. A beautifully animated cut-scene initiates, showing Cirno searching for Okuu. Eventually Cirno found Utsuho floating underwater, weakened, the eye on her chest dimming on and off. Cirno reached Utsuho and hugged her, causing Utsuho to wake up and her Sauron eye to start glowing a brilliant blue. Utsuho's reawakening (and apparent upgrade via the power of love) caused the lake to be filled with warmth and life once more, melting the majority of the ice and making the dark clouds fade away. It is hard to describe how adorable and happy Utsuho's expression was once Cirno found her. A truly heartwarming scene. Cirno brought Utsuho back to shore, showing a message that Okuu joined the party and her power of Nuclear Fusion has upgraded to something more superior: Cold Fusion. She no longer needed her cannon to regulate her powers.
The rest of my Touhoumons soon after appeared, the rest of the team consisting of Remilia, Suika, Yuyuko and Shinki. Bizarrely enough Bowser and Garchomp were there too, but I wasn't sure if they were part of my team too. It became clear that whatever was on that dark, stormy mountain in the distance was the final boss/the main Legendary Touhoumon. The remaining dark clouds over the lake were still raining, but Shinki covered us with her (GINORMOUS) wings to keep us dry (something that was also very sweet).
Remilia stepped forward, and stood underneath a tree that had returned to life thanks to Okuu, peering at the dark mountain from there. She then created a violin made from the same red energy as Gungnir and started to play a soothing song. First only Remi's violin was heard, but soon many other instruments could be heard joining in on the song, though it was unknown where the rest of the music was coming from. The music was building up more and more until it became a beautiful symphony. I'm not sure, but I think the song was a more heroic version of
Septette. Apparently Remi's violin skills were so awesome that it summoned an invisible orchestra. :V The song caused the storm in the distance to fade away, allowing us to reach the dark mountain via flight. The clouds over the lake disappeared too and the rain ended, letting brilliant sunlight shine over the mountain range (Remi was protected from it by the shadow of the tree).
The team decided to rest up a little bit before facing the final enemy. Suika decided to chill under the tree a bit, but Yuyuko decided to make herself appear giant and scared the crap out of Suika for the lulz. Cirno and Okuu were playing around and Shinki gave Remilia some more protection from the sun with her wings. Garchomp and Bowser headed off to that aforementioned house (which was unfrozen now) to rest, though I had no idea how they expected to get in with their large size (the house was big enough, but the doors appeared too small for them). The others soon joined Bowser and Garchomp (Suika being giant too, though at least she can shrink). Do note that all of this was still gorgeously animated.
It ended after that though. I have no idea who the being on the dark mountain was supposed to be, though I think it might have been Yukari.
Epic dream.
