Is it possible to use Fraps with Neko Project II?
« on: October 08, 2015, 10:29:01 PM »
I want to record some footage for the PC-98 games, and Fraps is the best thing I have. Unfortunately, it looks like Neko Project II isn't compatible with it. Is there a way I can get Fraps to work with it, or do I have to use something else? If the latter is the case, is there something free yet good quality I can use?

It looks like Fraps does work in NP2. I just updated NP2 and there's a new option for windowed mode that uses D3D, and Fraps is able to detect that. The catch is, you have to be playing in windowed, fullscreen will not work, at least at the present time. In this thread, click the first link that says that it will give you the latest build, which right now is July 28th, download that, and set the windowed mode to D3D (no restart of the emulator is required, it works immediately).
I figured out how to play midi in games with a different device on Win7 ^^

^ I didn't forget about this. I don't know what you're talking about. >_>

I tried it, and it does in fact work. Thanks.
