I think I have mixed feelings about FFVII remake.  :ohdear:
I don't think SE should've remake FFVII, yet...it's either we're not ready, or SE isn't. They haven't fulfilled their promise before remaking VII, "Making an FF game better than VII, before remaking VII". This gives curious minds like mine, things to think like "Square Enix might be running out of ideas, or is just really downhill right now." Nevertheless, expect development hell, like XV. They haven't even released KH3, when it was already announced a few years back.

As for Shenmue 3, seriously, nothing can make me happier than to continue a game I cherished on Dreamcast all those years ago.  I'm expecting a Sleeping Dogs-like gameplay.

I'm really pessimistic about the FF7 remake. SE'd better pull a miracle out of their butts if they want to stay true to the original game. This dev team are sick.

Shenmue 3 though...Might be cool, though I never got into the series before. Dem forklift races though...

Everything else was pretty good for the most part. I'm looking forward to getting some actual games for my PS4!

Like I said, I also think it's too soon to be remaking VII. 20 years isn't that long. We still haven't fully delved into XV, and now, they are trying to wake up a sleeping giant. There's still not an FF noting that's "better" than VII, which is why they haven't kept their promise.

Shenmue 3 though...Might be cool, though I never got into the series before. Dem forklift races though...

Shenmue was like the pseudo-GTA of Dreamcast, only it had some better stuff(mostly the mini-games, oh and collecting those gashapons like Sonic. :V). Graphically, it was pretty impressive for its time too.

This; I'm pretty sure Nintendo already said a month or so ago that there would be a big Pokemon announcement at E3. It's actually possible given that's it's been [coming up to] 2 years that it could be Gen 7 being announced. Some people say 6 or 8 are better than 7. I know a few people have the opinion that 10 is better.

In b 4 Square thinks 13 is better than 7.

There's plenty of reasons to be pessimistic but also plenty of reasons to be optimistic. So long as they stick with the general formula of the first they'll do fine. Even from a cynical standpoint, deviating from the original a lot is going to take extra work and money. So long as the battle system remains similar and Cloud is more FF7 Cloud than Kingdom Hearts Cloud it should be good. Hopefully. Hopefully

Can't watch the stream at work, but all I ask for is a new Metroid, a new StarFox (got this), a new Kid Icarus, a new F-Zero, and a new Zelda (think we got this?).

A Metroid/F-Zero crossover would be the greatest thing ever.

M&L Paper Jam looks absolutely like it's a genuine Mario & Luigi game.  So that's a thing.

Biggest deals for me were that Xenoblade X and Super Mario Maker have a confirmed english release date now.

Also I want to know if that new Metroid Prime (universe) game is actually being made by Retro or not.

Overall though not much super spectacular new from Nintendo though other than Star Fox Zero.
