While doing this, take our left palm off the blade just a tiny bit, no more than a hair's breadth, so that our stab will not be slowed by friction from rubbing up against our hand, but also so that, if Meira tries to parry our stab with her own sword, our palm can keep the stab's path true.

EDIT:

> This stab should be a full-on thrust. Keep going forward until we can't go fo' no mo', no matter how much body is in the way.

The attack isn't quite as effective as a proper stab or slash, not even the Noble Art can ignore bone as it ignores flesh, but you cut as deeply as you can before the swordswoman staggers away, crying out in pain.

>You move in and slash at her shoulders. In response, she drops to one knee, which you suspect she was struggling to restrain herself from doing. Your blade passes harmlessly over her head. This would be a problem if she had any counterattack prepared, but she's far from that right now.
