I really do. I mean, I know very few people who make more than like three Touhou OC's at all, and I have like, twenty of them. The reason for that, is because, wheneve I start to like a character, I just have to make an OC to pair up with them. The problem: I like pretty much every Touhou character. You can guess how many I've created, then.... What's worse, is that almost all of them are guys, and are paired up with one of the touhou girls. So, I expect to have them called Mary sues a lot..... I think the other reasoin is because I come from fandom's like Sonic and Pokemon, where creating Oc's is commonplace due to there being a much smaller amount of characters. That, and I love creating characters..... God, I don't even know why I created this thread....just ignore it..... |

Thinking it over, in the oft mentioned but never seen story of mine, I have 4 OCs. One's a self-insert (the whole point of the story), and two were arc-specific and not terribly important, so I guess there's only one "proper" OC I've created. Thankfully OCs aren't very important given the already massive size of Touhou's cast. The best part about PC-98 IMO is that since most have very little characterization you can take their bare personalities and make them into something else. |
