>"Overwhelming. And yes, I'm sure it must be, though I'm not sure how much we can do to help at the moment besides 'don't give her extra work'. There's many things I'd like to ask her about the parts of last night that I wasn't around to witness, but I thought to at least give the heads time to have their meeting before firing off questions. I... suspect it will be rather heavier than even Haruka expected it to be...."

>"Talking to you's gotta be less stressy than talking to reporters." Rin points out. "That's gotta count for somethin', right?"

>"Speaking of attention." Rin says with a chuckle. "Soon as word gets out she's livin' here now, there's gonna be all kinds of Iron Rings fans comin' up here, isn't there."
>It has. After the last time it was mentioned news lady promised more news would be coming, it moved on to a story about a runaway snowmobile.

>"Who knows?"

>Let's go get properly dressed and go say hi to Sanae.

>After drying off your hair (which is a bit of process, given the length and volume of your wealth of said resource), you select a fashionable knee-length purple dress and long, thick thighhighs to ward off the cold, opting as well for the matching purple hat and coat. It's a more expensive ensemble than you'd buy yourself, but it was part of a selection of clothes you received from Aya. With Rin decked out in a green and grey sweatshirt and black jeans, the two of you step outside, braving the cold in search of your new neighbor.
>Cold it is, too. It isn't snowing, but the cold is shocking, worsened by the frigid winter wind. This is turning into one of the coldest Novembers on record. But that doesn't mean everyone is staying indoors. From below you hear the sounds of a young girl's laughter, while above there is shouting. A pair of fairys fly over the back of the Moonside apartment building, passing something between them and giggling loudly, while an infuriated tengu youkai pursues them. Cold or not, fairies still love to play pranks on people.

>In the yard before there are a collection of vehicles. In addition to the sizable moving van, Reimu's car is in evidence once again, as is a rather expensive looking white and blue motorcycle. Said bike is being rather closely examined by Nitori, while a short man with short blue hair, pointy ears and a sour look on his pretty face looks on, rather obviously making sure the over-enthusiastic kappa doesn't wheel the bike away for some experimentation.
>Next to the van, Letty and Minoriko stand next to a short blonde girl, the source of the laughter. The girl is carrying two stout wooden casks on her shoulders, and is wearing easily the most unique hat you've ever seen in your life. The wide-brimmed brown hat has a pair of eyes on its top, which goggle as she laughs. You've never met her in person, but this is definitely Suwako Moriya, owner of Iron Rings.

>What do we know of Suwako?

>Suwako Moriya is the mother of Sanae Kochiya, and the owner of the Iron Rings franchise, a series of combination night clubs/host clubs all across Yamato. She is reputed to be rather eccentric, having a marked fondness for frogs, and doesn't deal with the public as much as her wife, Kanako, does. She seems awfully young to be a parent, though. To look at her, you have to be honest when you admit that you'd assume her to be around 15, 16 at the oldest. You know she has a bright smile and a big laugh, and from the size and apparent thickness of those casks, you would wager she is stronger than she appears as well.

>Approach the group by the moving van, with a smile
>"So, I heard we were getting new neighbours this morning - thought I ought to come say hello."

>"Morning, girls." Letty answers your greeting.
>"Ah, so this's the last two, eh." Suwako says as she gives you a look. She seems a bit surprised when she looks at you. "I'll be damned. It IS you." she says as her smile returns.

>"Byakuren Hijiri, pleased to make your acquaintance."

>Suwako laughs a little at your joke, then tosses one of her casks up in their, the wooden cask coming down squarely atop its made with a heavy clunk, the contents making a sloshing sound. Her now free hand waves a little. "No need for that. This isn't any business meeting." Then she grins. "'less of course you're looking for a job?" she asks, sounding transparently hopeful.

>Suwako shrugs. "I'da brought more but the missus wouldn't let me." The little businesswoman makes a face. "She's always trying to keep me in line. Oh, right." she adds with an abashed chuckle, then sticks out her free hand. "Suwako Moriya."

>You do not.

>Suwako's grip is as deceptively strong as her appearance is, but she manages not to break any bones with the gesture. Then she does the same with your girlfriend (hehe, the term still makes you mentally giggle.) "And I'm Rin, Rin Kaenbyou." the redhead introduces herself.
>"Yamato name with an Eire brogue?" Suwako inquires.
>"Well, I ascended here in Yamato."
>"Ah, that makes sense."

>Before you can answer in the affirmative, for you do in fact know that tune, Kanako's voice comes rumbling out of the open door behind Letty, "Suwako, stop harassing the neighbors."
>"Whaaat?" the blonde replies in an exaggerated tone. "She's got a pretty voice."
>"She does have a point, Byakuren." Letty adds with the slight smirk of amusement of hers.

>Suwako beams, and promptly squats down to have a seat on the cold ground, her posture bringing to mind a from sitting on a lily pad, for some reason.
>Game though you are to try, Kanako's voice once more interjects before you start your song. "Don't encourage her, Byakuren." The tall woman strides out of the open door of the apartment, her arms folded and a stern look upon her face, aimed at Suwako. "She's just trying to maneuver you into working for her."
>"Spoilsport." the grinning blonde spits at her wife.

>"A lot of things with Suwako operate under very curious rules." the taller woman replies in a tone like one discussing their disobedient son. Suwako doesn't help this image with that guileless grin on her face.
>"Translation, dear: Get back to work." Kanako orders.
>"Yesyes." the little blonde yawns out, hopping back up to her feet, making her casks contents slosh again. She doesn't leave though without giving you another smile. "I was looking forward to meeting you, too, Byakuren. Sanae was right, I'm gonna like you."

"I too was pleased to hear that you were going to be among our Sanae's new neighbors." the blue-haired woman says. "Truth to tell, I had been hoping Sanae would have more chances to spend time with you, but this is more than I had hoped."
