>To Reisen: "I will do what I can for her, I promise you."
>If that reassures her enough to actually leave, let's go
>The rabbit holds out for a moment longer, but another look at the pained expression on Patchouli's face convinces her. She gives you a grim nod and releases her keeper's shoulders.
>With that out of the way, you return to the task at hand. You note, as you enter the rainbow corridor leading down to Water's prison that Patchy's hand is warm to the touch, but not the good kind of warm. More like the fever kind of warm. That helps fortify you against your doubts surrounding this venture. You hate to see Sanae become what she is now, but the alternative for Patchy, at this rate, could prove to be even worse.
>You would have had to carry Patchouli along with you anyway, but her condition makes it feel like you're dragging a load of dead weight. The sight of the Oubliette wall, though, distracts you a little. Despite your shielding, you can see a few holes had already formed in the shimmering wall of Water's jail. And yet you're sure Water has not escaped, and nor do you see the Water Champion attacking those holes. Despite your conversation with her, it's quite a surprise not to see Louise at least trying to take advantage of this opportunity.
>The answer to that pondering comes when you and Patchouli pass through the Oubliette wall into the pocket reality you caged Water within. The Champion herself is on the ground beneath the holes in the wall. And judging by the looks of her, she's in as bad a shape as Patchy is.
