>Close the door behind us
>You stay out here. I'll go to my room and examine this more closely. If you do end up having to deflect someone, try to be subtle. And let me know if you feel you need to. I won't be any longer than I have to be.
>Let's go to our room, transform, then take a closer look at whatever's going on between Patchy and that vial of saltwater
>"Understood. Just be careful, okay?" Rin says with a quiet smile.
>With your heart steeled by Orin's concern, you retire to your chambers and assume your magical form. After waiting a moment to hear from Rin about any potential callers, and receiving no word, you once more focus your will on the touchstone and send your mind's awareness down the path to the Rainbow Oubliette.
>Straightaway, you can sense more details about the misty stream of energy flowing from your neighbour down the path to Louise's cell walls. Or at least, more information about what it isn't. It definately isn't the Champion of Water's power, and nor is it Patchy's magic. Nor can you can sense any kind of deliberate intent from Patchy's side of the trail, so your hypothesis about her not being aware of it seems to be accurate. And the walls of Louise's cell are definately holding, so it isn't something she's doing from her side, either.
>But, more worryingly, with your newly enhansed senses, you can see that the mist is indeed having an effect on the Oubliette walls. Here and there where the mist is touching, very very slight patches of weakness are forming in the walls.
