Byakuren EWI by WINN.
Winn truly improved in this one. The characters look far less chibi in this one, and almost fully detailed. No wonder this one took so long to appear. Its amazing how much Winn improved his animation skills since the first video. The origins of all the characters was also a nice touch.
One complaint (as always): you saw an old lady Byakuren in one of the flashbacks transform into the young, youkai Byakuren at Myouren's grave immediately. This is actually an inconsistency with the description of magicians in PMiSS. Magicians
stop aging when they become youkai magicians. As far as I know they don't grow young again from transforming into youkai magicians. So if you turn into one while you are 80 years old you
stay 80 years old. Forever. This Byakuren turned from ancient to young in the blink of an eye. That isn't right. Byakuren must have been turned into a youkai magician at a young age if she still looks like a young adult now. You could explain that Byakuren learned another spell to make herself young again, but she
immediately transformed there, while I would imagine a youth spell to take an enormous incantation and many requirements, and not happen full-automatically. And she looked pretty psychotic when she transformed, while the requirement of becoming a full youkai magician is to abandon temper.
Besides that Winn was pretty accurate with the backgrounds. Only that minor error bothered me.
