Yeah Cosmo's been playing Mewtwo all day and it's funny how similarly he plays to Zelda. He can kill super early with a ton of stuff. His tilts are insane too.

Very interesting if this is indeed real, though that's looking more and more likely as time goes on. I feel like I'm in the minority when it comes to Roy though, not particularly invested in him. Smash 4 Marth already has a clone character in Lucina, having two clones would be unprecedented. Not to mention that the 3 current clones actually make sense to be clones, whereas Roy does not. I would think if he were to be included he'd become more like a semi-clone or something.

Ryu, on the other hand, I'm much more excited about. I don't play Street Fighter (at least not yet), but I've become more of a fan since last year's EVO, and Ryu would definitely provide a highly different playstyle (in the realm of Smash anyway), much in line with Smash 4's other newcomers. There seems to be a bunch of talk that Ryu and Roy (along with some other additions) would be released the same time as Lucas (Mother hype yeeeaaah!), but I'm a little hesitant to believe they'd do that, especially when all this stuff was supposed to be a surprise for either the Direct tomorrow or E3 proper.

Ryu's final smashes seem to be proximity based

Shoryuken if you're close, Hadoken if you're far

Eh, semantics. If Fox, Falco and Wolf can be considered different, I am pretty sure they can make Roy different from Marth in Smash 4, especially since Marth is really different from before.

And Roy had his moved changed, he is less of a clone than Lucina now, there.

One could argue he was always less of a clone than Lucina. Just a matter of figuring out exactly how his moves work now, mass amounts of people actually playing with him and testing him out and all that. Suikama's link earlier provided a demonstration, his moves look more tailored for Smash 4's engine to be sure, just like Mewtwo. Whether he's an effective fighter or not, there's gonna be a lot of people playing him anyway at first purely because of his popularity, which, going back to my original point, I don't quite identify with.

For some strange reason I wouldn't mind this, even though it flies in the face of Smash's whole "simple inputs" theme. I'm just waiting for people who understand how to use focus attacks to start messing everyone up with it. :V

Hadoken
Quickly input down, down-forward, forward for 1.25x power. You might have to practice a bit to really figure out howtodo a Hadoken.

Shoryuken
Input the commands from the original series to become invincible until the move is complete. The move needs no recovery time after landing.

Tatsumaki Senpukyaku
Enter down, down-back, back for 1.16x power. Increasing the strength also increases the move?s speed and travel distance.

Focus Attack
You can cancel this move by pressing left or right twice quickly, either while charging or right after the punch connects.

Attacks
Just like in those, you can cancel the move after striking by going straight into a special.

Everything confirmed to be released today? I am so glad I was wrong.

I wanna give special mention to that Youtube feature. Clearly a response to how the new patch system destroys old replays, but nonetheless it's fantastic for any kind of Smash player, whether they want to save replays of their matches for study, or to show off a wacky yet amazing KO.

And I'll be surprised if I don't run into problems on the eShop two minutes from now.
