>"Is this someone's diary they never used or something?"
>Peek through the holes.

>"Hmph, I bet you thought it was a normal book with words in it or what!", sneers Luna at Star.
>"That's just childish, Luna.", says Star. She gives up on trying to touch Luna's shoulder and stands up to take a look inside the book alongside you.
>"All the pages really do have no words. Hmm..." Star puts a finger on her chin in contemplation. "Could this be the work of a book vampire?"
>"Book vampire? Give me a break.", says Luna, folding her arms and indignantly tossing her head to the side.
>"Yes, a book vampire! It must have made these holes and sucked up all the words.", says Star as she sticks a finger in one of the holes in the book.
>Luna decides to spare herself by only emitting a single frustrated noise in response to Star. She looks back to you.
>"So what did Kourin say it's called?", Luna asks.

>You try peeking through the holes, looking both from inside and outside the covers. Nothing interesting happens.

>Is it a Bowling Book?  Try to use it as such.

>You find the thought entertaining, but unfortunately the holes are too far apart from each other and too large even for human fingers for it to be used like that.

>Wave the book around.

>"It is a book without a name. That is all I know.", says Rinnosuke.
>"That's not the 'it', Sunny. I meant the thing Reimu gave you.", says Luna.
>"Kourin said he can't tell what it is right now for some reason, so we'll need to come back in the evening or night when the shop's closed.", Star says.
>"Um, that's not good... Reimu doesn't like it when people are slow on their jobs.", says a worried-looking Luna.
>Star shrugs. "There's not much we can do if he can't tell us just yet."
>Luna sighs. "I guess we are leaving then?"

>"I wonder where they even live...", says Luna.
>"Don't worry, we have a clue now where one of them could be!", Star says.
>"We do?" Luna finally stands up from the floor. "Well, what are we waiting for?"

>Grab Luna, and head out to our previous destination!

>You grab on to Luna's wide sleeve and begin dragging her toward the front door. She is stunned by your act despite how quick she was to fight back against Star's abuse, but she manages to start leveraging her weight behind you in time, halting you before you reach the front door.
>"W-wait, Sunny! You don't need to snatch that book, it wasn't very interesting to read!", says Luna.

>Put it somewhere nearby, then resume heading out!

>"Geez...", says Luna as she pries your hand off her sleeve.
>You dropped: Damaged purple book
>Since you don't see a dedicated bookcase anywhere, you decide to put the book in the nearest shelf. Rinnosuke doesn't seem to mind.
>Without bidding farewells, you exit Kourindou with Star and Luna. You only get to take a dozen steps outside before Luna starts complaining.
>"I'm getting tired of walking... Why don't we just fly wherever we're going?", says Luna.
>"Flying is just as tiring in the long run too, you know.", Star says, "Hey, wait..."
>Star stops moving and fixates her gaze on something off to the side on Kourindou's yard.
>"... Forget about walking or flying, look over there!", she says.

>"Another bird to ride?"

>Star takes hold of your forearm and pulls you closer to her side while she points down the yard with her other hand, as to make sure that you're definitely looking in the right place.
>You see a shiny metal cart with four small wheels sitting on the lawn where Star is pointing. You suspect that the cart has a high likelihood of being capable of giving a sweet ride.
>Star bounces lightly in place in excitement and gives you a series of enthusiastic nods.

Re: Three Fairies Quest

>Go investigate!

>You move up to the cart to examine it.
>The cart is essentially a four-wheeled dolly with a large rectangular basket nested above it. Its overall construction consists of sturdy metal rods, but the basket appears to be made out of meshes of metal wire. A green bar with something written on it in blue is attached on the edge of one of the shorter sides of the cart's basket. You think it's supposed to be a handhold for pushing the cart.
>While taking a closer look at the cart, you note that its wheels are pointing in random directions. What kind of a wacky design is this?

>"...Hey, hey, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

>Star gets behind the cart and winks at you.
>"You're planning to ride that thing, aren't you.", says Luna.
>"Aw, that's just ruining the mood, Luna." Star looks away dejected. "We didn't say a word, yet we understood each other perfectly. It was beautiful..."
>"Um, but Sunny did say something?", says a confused Luna, "Anyway, I don't think we can use that cart. Look at its wheels, they're all busted."
>Star leans to the side and notes the chaotic arrangement of the four tiny black wheels supporting the cart from the bottom as well. She tries giving the cart a small push. The cart rattles a little as its wheels smoothly rotate and align to face the direction where Star pushed the cart from. With its wheels properly aligned, the cart rolls forward on the lawn without any trouble.
>"Ooh, so they weren't broken, but they swivel? Kinda neat.", says Luna.
>"This truly is a steed like no other!", says Star, who appears to be much more enthralled by this discovery than Luna. She hurries to get behind the cart again.
>"Come, Sunny! Our destiny awaits!", says Star, beckoning you to climb in the cart first.

>Waste no time, hop into the prow of our new vessel!

>You clamber in the cart with all due haste and settle as forward as you can, to the position of a brave leader! You estimate that there's still space left for either Star or Luna to sit behind you.
>"We're waiting on you, Luna!", says Star.
>"Geh. You're gonna be the pusher?", Luna says, glaring at Star.
>"Hmm? Weren't you tired of walking just now?", Star says with a headtilt.
>"Whatever." Luna sighs. "If you're gonna be stupid again, you'll hurt Sunny too."
>Luna climbs unceremoniously into the cart and sits down behind you. It's just spacious enough to accomodate both of you without feeling too cramped.
>"All right, everything is in order! Just say the word, Sunny!", says Star.

>"Hit it!"

>"Affirmative!", shouts Star.
>Star gives the cart a heavy shove, and it sets in motion remarkably effortlessly despite the weight it now bears and the grassy lawn beneath it. Before you know it, Star has already pushed the cart on the road leading westwards and begun the journey toward the village.
>As the cart picks up more and more speed, you start to feel strangely excited. How come you had never noticed before how fascinating speed is? The cart probably isn't even going as fast as you can run after a failed prank, yet still, your heart jumps in your chest and your head feels a little bit tingly. You want to go faster...

>"Kick it up a notch, Star!"

>With your command, Star starts to work her boots faster. You can't really get a good view on her with only a quick turn of head since Luna is sitting behind you, but judging by the sounds, you'd imagine Star's rapid running is starting to look quite comical.
>After your twintails start flowing straight backwards from the force of the air current, you find yourself considerably more satisfied with the present velocity of the vehicle. Although going a little bit faster wouldn't hurt, you suppose, since Star is still doing a good job with keeping the cart on the road. And contrary to what you would've expected, Luna's not acting particularly panicky, aside from tensing up and leaning in against your back every time a small bend comes along on the road.
>As Star guides the cart to take an another unremarkable corner, a familiar figure down the forest road appears in your sight. It's that man that almost bashed your face in with the front door of Kourindou, and he's still carrying a ridiculous amount of bags in his hands! You can almost hear the rustling over the sound of wind rushing past your head.
>"Ah, a chance meeting!", says Star, sounding almost perfectly coherent despite the strenuous exercise she's subjected herself into, "He hasn't gotten very far. Should we give him a little speed boost?"
>"Hey! I thought we were gonna leave him to karma to deal with!", says Luna.
>"But there must be a reason we meet again with him! What do you think, Sunny?", Star says.

>"Belay those concerns, lieutenant!"

>"Stop messing around Sunny, this isn't funny!", Luna says as she pummels your back with her fists in protest.
>"Relax, Luna.", says Star, "This humie can't handle the combined power of us and our cart. Prepare to see him go flying!"
>Luna continues with begging and furiously pounding on your back as the cart draws ever closer to the unsuspecting man in tan, but she is quick to realize that you and Star have turned a deaf ear to her and aren't intending to back out of this.
>"Nooo! Somebody, help! I don't wanna dieeee!", screams Luna. She throws her arms around your waist and clings desperately onto your back.
>Shortly after that, the cart rams squarely into the man's back. However, instead of bowling the man out of the way and continuing with its speedy ride down the forest road, the cart comes to a violent stop on impact with the man! You feel your stomach jump into your throat as you are launched off the cart straight toward the man in tan. You smash into his back almost immediately after becoming airborne, and then it feels like you've been caught in the middle of a whirlwind! The world melts into a blur as you wildly spin around while flying through the air outside of your own control. Then everything hurts for a split second.
>...
>Everything hurts. Everything hurts so much. It's as though your aching and pounding head decided to host its own drum contest instead and you've been trampled by its crowd. You are barely able to concentrate enough to make out the pained moans and sobbing of somebody close to you. After a moment, you realize that you're laying on your back against hard ground and that everything is dark because your eyes are shut tight. Trying to open your eyes, let alone attempting to move a limb, is not going to be a very pleasant experience, you think...

>Let's not do either of those things yet.

>Too afraid to even open your eyes, you remain dead still on your back and hope the pain isn't going to get any worse than it already is. The suffering only seems to be changing its form rather than dying down, however, as your feel like your arms and legs are being pricked by hundreds of needles. You hear another tender voice coughing, gagging and retching slightly further away from you and the first voice.
>"Owwww... It huuuurts...", the voice closest to you groans. You're fairly certain now that it's Luna.
