TASing Touhou?

Is There Any Program I Could Use To TAS Touhou? I See Many TAS Run, But I Never Know How.  :derp:

Hourglass. It's terribly bug and it'll freeze at some point unless you use Windows XP (or a VM with it). MoF+ games can't normally save replays, you need some trick Kopiapoa does (he's who makes most of the Extra scorerun TASes).

Otherwise there's Cheat Engine, but it just gives ability to slowdown, not savestates. You can get some savestates by using it inside a VM, but it's really unpleasant since it takes like 30 seconds to restore a state.

I think discussing methods that one can create undetectable TAS with are frowned upon, if not completely forbidden. I remember some thread getting locked due to cheating talk in the recent years. I have no name will remember better.

Hourglass forces the date to 57/09/06, it's completely detectable. So are CE slowdowned TASes since the movements look unnatural. The only way to cheat undetectably would be moderated use of VM savestates, but I'm pretty sure the thread is about TAS runs like the ones in Arcorann pages, not cheap cheat.

I don't see an issue with encouraging people to push the game to beyond human limits, so a discussion like this is fine. Just as long as you mark your TASes, there shouldn't be an issue.
