I apologize for making your eyes bleed. Hopefully, I won't have many arcs.

It flips upright to become a castle again.

>[Inner Dialogue] Alright, in order to pull this off, I have to find some way of either using some sort of interference to separate the library from the warlord's control, or incapacitate that girl to prevent the library from facing any danger. Setting up any form of interference isn't exactly my forte, but I'll have a better shot at that than quietly eliminating that girl. Not only that, but Patchouli should be able to assist in the separation. Then protecting the library from there is as simple as creating a barrier using some form of imaginary number lock. From there, I could launch an all-out offensive on the warlord from a separate location, if only to distract them from assaulting the library again.

Gonna clarify. The "actually" was about the Belmont joke. You COULD summon them for a fight. With that in mind, if you want to change your move, you can.

Patchy stops you and holds you up to the window. The library was literally bite-sized! "Magical shields are nice and all, but all it takes at this size is a punch to crush them and us." She sighs. "Perhaps we should assist him..."

*has a private chuckle* Yeah, that worked out rather nicely for Dracula, actually...

I'll roll when more people have responded.

Moved it.

Patchy sighs. "We're pretty much cornered. We have no choice but to assist him. ...And you really think that girl won't notice that? I'm getting a ridiculously powerful reading from her. Here, put this on." She forks over a scouter. As you put it on, all it says is "Overflow Error".

I'm not sure which is more impressive: The fact I did that in the first place? Or the fact I read it THREE TIMES before actually realizing what you meant.

Sounds like best-case scenario to me, you never know when some adventurer is gonna disguise themself to get past the castle. If even I myself can't just get through freely, that's perfect. I should totally remember to prepare a reward for their excellent service.

>While I'm thinking about it, place a "pull lever to open door" sign in one of the rooms, with a lever to match. I'll decide whether or not to place a trap on it later. The sign alone should definitely cause some trouble and confusion for any unwanted guests.

Who says it isn't?

[6] ...Hmm... seems she's just hungry. Starved, actually. This kind of appetite indicates a spike in power, usually...

Relevant word highlighted.
"Usually," the way I see it, implies that it's not happening now, especially since her hunger is being described as her "not feeling well." It's a minor thing, I guess, but it's also kind of ambiguous... unless that was intentional, in which case ignore this post entirely. ^^;

Usually indicates a probable cause. As you have no reason to reject that probable cause, perhaps you should allow things to play out for now.

EDIT (from Validon): Alright, thank you for the clarification. Changing action to:

>Hmm... keep an eye on her, then. If her condition worsens, then take immediate action, but otherwise be there for support!
