Art is nothing that needs to be understood anyway. :V
Back on the original games I did one of the contest-types with a Ditto.

Now that's just cheating.

Ahh, "cheating" sounds so harsh and negative.
It is actually quite a high art.
Not only do you have to accurately hit the button for using Transform
but you also have to keep your patience when the opponent before you does something incredibly useless.

In all seriousness though, it's brainless and silly.

I have literally never done a contest ever. I don't even have a vague idea of how the mechanics work. Which seems weird to me now that I think about it, the idea that there's a whole facet of Pokemon I've never seen. Plus Weezing needs to Gotta Win Em' All trademark.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

Did we ever share secret bases here? I made one for the first time. Feel like I need to improve it in some way though. NPCs are a bit random and team is not final.

Also, contests are hilariously easy in this game, especially for doing everything with one pok?mon. You can literally max out all stats within ~5 minutes lol. If you do so, the only time you can lose is when you
Spoiler:
compete with Lisia after winning all Master contests once
.

EDIT: satistying flag count and maybe one or two minor changes, don't remember.

Ohh, it looks like we have the same design for secret bases. Just pass by mine. I can say your base looks really cute ;u;, the lighting makes it more comfy, specially because it's inside a cave.

I have never finished contests in master rank >: I'm more of a battling person, netherless I really wanna see what happens if I finish every contest in master rank.

Anyway here is my base

It's really not so hard, and you get a nifty prize at the end.

Also, I just noticed Pok?bank does not transfer items. And I cannot use my brother's 3DS to do my 70 trades because I have a JP 3DS. Wonderful.

Usually my main problem is that I don't think my Pok?mon have usable moves. Any tips? Condition is no problem but moves... well, I usually run two moves that raise the attention of the condition I'm playing, a neighbor move that does not raises attention and finally a move that lowers it.

Do you have exotic Pok?mo? This is tiring but you can trade items via GTS, like for example, you upload a Zigzagon requesting a Xerneas. Then on X/Y you trade said Zigzagon with the Xerneas holding the item.

Thanks! Yours is looking nice too, I liked the dolls placement. You're a bit lonely there though. :V

Updated my previous post with current QR which I'm done with the flags, and maybe did a minor change on something but I can't really remember.

Usually, you don't have to worry too much about how to win. Most of the time, if your Pok?mon has max condition, there isn't too much to do to get first place. I ran a lot of different movesets, but all with a mandatory standard move (4 hearts) and other available stuff, either to prevent damage or to enhance confidence. I never really worried about the ovation.
Also, remember there are combo moves, like Defense Curl + Rollout or Clam Mind + Stored Power that really help getting chunks of points while being good in the contests. My Gardevoir kept spamming Calm Mind + Stored Power and won pretty easily.
You also get bonus hearts if your Pok?mon mega-evolve in the contest.

Do you have exotic Pok?mo? This is tiring but you can trade items via GTS, like for example, you upload a Zigzagon requesting a Xerneas. Then on X/Y you trade said Zigzagon with the Xerneas holding the item.
I will have to resort to that if I don't find anybody with a Japanese 3DS. I grinded those items so much that doing it again already tires me.
Especially those Leftovers.
