> Let's leave the mansion. Before we fly off, though, let Meiling know we're heading out, and see if she'll make sure Koishi gets home safe and sound.
> To the Yakumoarium!
> You leave the mansion, but not before stopping by the gate and notifying Meiling of your departure. You also request that she watch out for Koishi.
> "You got it, red-white!" Meiling says, waving as you fly off.
> The flight to the Yakumo's place takes you east, far away from many familiar landmarks and over open water. It's a cool summer evening, and because the sun is still up, you can see the landscape below. The Human Village is a husk of its former self, now that almost all of its residents are safely at the base of Youkai Mountain. Next, you pass over the Garden of the Sun. Despite the water, flowers flourish, stretching until they're mere feet below the surface. It's as if they're begging for air. Farther off you see the Sanzu River and nearby locations, hauntingly abandoned.
> The sun sinks lower, and all that's left to look at is forest. The water bubbles in the sky have lost their novelty quickly enough that not even they can entertain you now. However, there is one thing that catches your attention: the crack in the sky. You'd swear that its obsidian depths have stretched wider across the sky. Veined cracks are visible over the horizon, and become more prominent as you reach the beginnings of the mountain range. A view from the east is not a view you're used to, especially when you've never been to Mayohiga at night. As you descend on one of the tucked-away mountains, you start to recall the abandoned village's location. It shouldn't be too high up the mountain; in fact, if you just go through--or over--a forest you might come across it on the other side. The Yakumo's house is the biggest one there.
