> So many problems with portals.
> "So basically it involves how I got there or came back?"
> Are there any other times we've gone to other worlds? Does Hakugyokurou count as "another world"?
> This is all very troublesome.
> "Yes. Obtaining a curse while in the other world would just have the usual effects, unless there was some otherworldly magic at work."
> You think of all the times you've gone to other worlds. Hakugyokurou is considered a branch of the afterlife, and at the most technical level, not a part of Gensokyo. Likewise, Bhava-Agra and the rest of Heaven are separate as well, despite the ease at which you can visit them.
> You've never been to the Outside World, but you think that counts as a separate world, and you know that the Boundary is a thing to be reckoned with.
> The Underground technically counts as another world; however, after the Geyser Incident, barriers were taken down and it was safely connected to Gensokyo. You've been back and forth so much that it doesn't matter anymore.
> Then there's the Sanzu River, which serves as a portal between Gensokyo and Higan. You hope you don't have to worry about that until the far future.
> Makai, of course, is practically another dimension. The last time you visited that was a very long time ago.
> The last places you can think of are, like Makai, places of the distant past. There are the other various dream worlds you've stumbled into, and then Reimaden, which you remember next to nothing about.
