> Sanae is standing on one side of the shrine's pond.  On the other side stand Suika and Suwako, who has obviously found Sanae before you.  All three are currently engaged in a stand-off.
> "Get out of the way!" Sanae says to them.
> "Hell no," Suika shouts across the lake.

> Sanae doesn't answer you.  She doesn't even look at you.  However, she doesn't move for any of her spellcards.
> Across the pond, you see Suika increasing in size until she's even larger than your shrine.  She kneels down ever so slowly and reaches out to Sanae with one massive hand.  Sanae gasps and starts to back away.

> "I don't know, but it doesn't sound good," Suika says.  She makes a grab at Sanae, who darts off to the side.
> Suika, without as much as a grumble, uses her other hand to block off Sanae's escape route.

> You keep on your toes, and try to talk to Sanae.  From inside Suika's hands, you hear muffled screaming and danmaku being fired.  Suika winces but holds her ground.
> Suwako is currently sitting on Suika's arm, and has a troubled expression on her face.

> "I'll try."  Suika moves her thumbs apart a bit.  Sanae's arms stick out and claw at Suika's fingers.  It's too small of an opening between them for her to get out.

> Sanae continues to freak out.  Some stray danmaku fly through Suika's fingers, but they're harmless enough that they dissipate within seconds.

> There is no honden, although you've read that this is normal among really old shrines.  The goshintai is the yin-yang orb, which is safely in your possession.

> Sanae seems to be getting more desperate.  Suika has closed her hands completely now to shield you and Suwako against what is clearly danmaku: you can hear bullets being fired from inside Suika's cupped hands.  Sanae is no longer screaming, but whimpering in fear.  It sounds like she has started crying again.

> "Does she sound like she thinks everything is okay?" Suwako asks over Sanae's crying.

> You approach Suika's hands.  It doesn't sound like Sanae's going to calm down anytime soon, but Suika is ensuring that no danmaku escapes.

> Sanae immediately takes off running.  Suika reaches out with the arm Suwako is sitting on and scoops Sanae off the ground by the back of her shirt.  Sanae's legs keep kicking midair, as if that will help her run away.
