Things that make you different from most Touhou players

1. I actually enjoy most of IOSYS music, while mostly a subjective thing when it comes to taste anyway.
2. I enjoy Flandre's theme.
3. I'm a big fan of SSG's 幻想科学　～ Doll's Phantom. 2nd phase of when fighting VIVIT.
4. I found Flandre a hell of a lot easier than any extra bosses to date.
5. EoSD is one of the few games I can make myself look like a seasoned touhou player, plus I can actually compete with people here on score runs(At least in normal).
6. I'm smitten with Orange.
7. I'm proud to own a touhou Dakimakura and not ashamed of showing it off( at least when seen in my room.)
8. ZUN's art is awesome.
9. I didn't mind the touhou Side Story anime(le gasp, the one with Reisen and what not).
10. I think Flandre isn't all that crazy as everyone makes her out to be.

Chii-roo-no doesn't really sound weird if you're speaking Japanese, but it's weird to say when speaking English. I usually go with Sirno or Searno ENG instead.

I have another little contribution to my differences.

I've not really had the urge to play through EoSD until very recently; I got the game about... a year ago. I am different because I went for an entire year with "Touhou 6" without realizing that it wasn't even the full game, rather it was the demo.

I can't even begin to describe my confusion when it kept cutting me off after being Hong Meiling. On the upside, I'm extremely proficient at the first three levels of the game now

I agree with all of these. As for myself, off the top of my head, I don't think EoSD Extra's stage section is that difficult compared to the others, and I find Omoikane's Brain fun. :V

Well, it think it's because ZUN made up a name off the top of his head but didn't realize how to romanize it correctly. This is assuming it's supposed to be English-like and not based on some other language, like Flandre being a French name. But I don't know any languages that pronounce "ci" like "chi".

Some bits of (I'm assuming) difference about me as a Touhou player.

1) I often get distracted while playing Touhou. By what? The danmaku. =_=

2) I often combine my hobbies, doing things like playing Touhou music while playing MapleStory (I almost never use their music these days), making YGO decklists based on characters' abilities or preferences, that YGO custom-card thread I had a long while back that I ended up letting die because I couldn't figure out which of the few Spell Cards Rumia had I should use (and, on top of that, what they would DO), and so forth.

3) My main weakness is Hong Meiling. Not in a "so moe I shall die" way, but in a "her danmaku eats up my lives" way. I can handle Patchy's spells somewhat OK, Cirno is easy (even on Normal) and Rumia's fun . . . but Meiling kills me like you wouldn't believe.

4) Alternately, I'm weak against STAGE 3 BOSSES in general. Keine kills me, Meiling kills me, ALICE KILLS ME (to date, I've never gotten past Alice), etc. etc. . . . Heck, it even passes over to games in other series (LOLTarvos in Quarantine, for example T_T).

5) My characters in Yellonde on MapleStory are all Touhou-based. A Reimu char (future Cleric HakureiMiko), Marisa char (future Ice/Lightning KirisameMari), and an Alice char (future Fire/Poison HouraiDoll). Add me if you want, I'm almost never on there but once I get my chars in Windia all up at or past 30 I'll be spending time in Yellonde.

The first time ever I saw the name Cirno I sall it spelled as "Chrno", as in Chrno Crusade,
and so I read it as Chrono. But that only lasted for half an hour maximum until I realized it was badly wrong.

I know! I wish I could find something that showed her shoes more. I'm not sure as to what they are... I have an Idea on what everything else is, but I don't have any pictures that include Orange's shoes in them... Though the sprite art makes them look like Reimu and Marisa's shoes in PCB. But Orange just needs more art and more love.

Something that makes me different from other Touhou fans is... That I made some meringue today, shaping it into all sorts of Touhou references.

Being my first post here, after a long consideration of joining here, this should be also counted as my introduction.

- I have registered here a week ago, and completely forgot about it after I did.
- I'm seeing some very few people going "oh no, not that fag" when I'll say that I'm Yosei Onmyoji from Poosh.

So after this nonsense, let's see:

1. I love most characters equally. However I don't know why the classics are loved more than the new characters.
2. After months of trying, I still can't 1cc SA Normal. During those months I've beaten PCB Phantasm and IN Extra, also UFO Normal.
3. I don't like how the fandom is too diverse, and why they can't agree on one interpretation of the world, what includes canon and those fanon ideas what goes well with canon.
4. I love the PC-98 games, but I suck at them.
5. I think ZUN's art is good. He's still better than me.
6. When I first seen Cirno, I called her Chirno. Also, japanese pronunciation is easier for me.
7. I think I can fully understand ZUN drunken rumblings in his works.
8. I want to be ZUN's successor.
9. I think PCB is not that great, and the spellcards are lacking.
10. I never play on harder modes than Normal.
11. I think memes are fun community things, but they shouldn't be viewed seriously.
12. I think Gensokyo really exist, and I want to devote my life finding the entrance. If I get a Life.
13. I hate curving lasers, but I LOVE to play with them in Danmakufu.
14. I somewhat like the bomb system in MoF and SA more than the original.
15. I can't play normally with any character other than Reimu.
16. The best stage in the series is SA's Stage Five.

1. Most of my deaths are due to really stupid things. i.e Running up to the PoC after bombing and getting hit by a fairy/boss immediately after the bomb wears off.
2. I almost never bomb when I feel overwhelmed. Alternatively, I panicbomb a lot when I'm not really in any danger.
3. I like the ⑨ meme solely because I can reference Touhou in daily life without being asked questions. I don't like the whole "OLOL CIRNO IS BAKA LMAO" business, though. 
4. I used to hate Yukkuris, but now I'm starting to like them.
5. Even though I don't like most memes that the fanbase spews out, I can't help but think of them as "almost-canon" because I was exposed to them a lot when I was new.
6. I apparently like to challenge myself after 1CCing a game. I did a no-focus run, and played with a mouse (also tried route 6A for the first time) almost immediately after I 1CC'd IN Easy.
6.5. I played IN Normal while nearly blind. And almost won. This is what it looked like to me.
7. I was introduced to Touhou by, not McRolled or CPMC, but a fairly obscure video that I found while playing Osu!.
8. I subconsciously avoided Touhou for over a year. The first time I can remember seeing it was when Cloud8745 posted some lunatic videos. I remember thinking "Ehh, this looks pretty boring. I don't like shmups." at the time. I also had 'Marisa Stole the Precious Thing' in my Osu! songlist, but never looked into it. Last, I saw a lot of 'U.N. Owen was ____' videos, but never watched any of them until after I had already found Touhou.
