uh idk I just don't want Desrada to die ;_; (I may now be overly protective of our warleaders.) I sorta want to magic but she's only Good at Magic.

Cow. (I might see about trading some goods and/or horses for cows, we're not particularly hurting but our farmers are unhappy and nore cows never hurt. Worst case it gives us a bigger buffer to feast on some.)


Sora Goodseller, a trader-priestess of the talking god, Issaries, comes to trade with you. In the course of a routine trading session, she shares some news.  "By helping to start a new tribe, you changed the face of Dragon Pass." Afraid of your tribe's power, the other clans are gathering themselves into tribes. The Tanahart, Zethnoring, and Grey Fox clans have joined together as the Torkani tribe. The Balmyr tribe is made up of the Antorling, Six Brothers, Narri, and Elkenval clans. Finally, the Badger, Undaroli, and Blue Jay clans have confederated as the Estarelder tribe. Other clans are considering forming tribes.

1.  Argue for war with another tribe.
2.  Attempt an alliance with another tribe.
3.  Convey the news to the other clans of the tribe.
4.  Sacrifice to the gods for protection from new tribes.
5.  Warn the Trolls against one of the new tribes.


Also for 1, 2, or 5, which tribe? I dunno if we can pick the Colymar for 1 or 2 - I assume not for 5 since it specifies new tribes, in case anyone still hates them for the one time. :V

We are strong, and should prove it on the battlefield. (1)
We should strenghten our magic through sacrifice, in case war breaks out between tribes. (4)
In a place where there are so many elder races and other strange things, it is good to have some inhumans on your side. (5)
After Bad King Urgrain's reign, the night came and all the tribes fell apart. Oskul created a new tribe, and then others formed out of Oskul-fear.
This is a tough one.

We must buuld up our forces before seeking battle. (3)

It's reeeeeally nice and convenient that the 3 clans we're scrumming with each happened to join different tribes. Each tribe has a clan the we are/could be buddies with as well.

Uh... 3 for starters and 4 since we have the goods for sacrifice and could use magic. When it comes to 2, it's probably Balmyr since we're on real good terms with all of those clans but the Elkenvali, who might not want to look like a branch that needs to be pruned.

...I guess?

Because this is getting confusing, I have taken the liberty of putting together a map!



The three new clans all have someone that hates us, which is a problem because now they have backup and might become actual threats. Therefore I think we should patch up relations with one of them.

- Two of the Estarelder clans dislike us, but they're way the fuck over there, so we can probably just ignore them. IIRC we have to pay tolls to attack through someone else's territory anyway.
- The Torkani consists of the Zethnorings and two other clans that are a bit out of range. We can probably keep beating on the Zethnorings safely.
- The Balmyr tribe tightly borders our own and contains the Elkenval, but also our friends the Narri. It's also the biggest tribe of the three.

Therefore, I think we should make nice with the Elkenval since all their buddies are in our backyard and one of them already likes us. 2, Balmyr.

OK we can't raid them until Earth of two years from now (so, for all practical intents and purposes, Storm of that year :V) unless they raid us first.
