I do find it interesting that y'all interpreted her crime completely differently than I did - and we'll never know which is right since pretty sure that's all the game's gonna give you on her! But grizzled older lady and infant badass are now ours~
Now, I think this year is a good one to abstain from going on the offensive and work on some resources. First, trying to take care of that yearly omen. (Omens like that are
precisely why I haven't gone for Calf Blessing yet despite it being sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet - it's entirely possible to get one of those after you've already learned all a god's blessings and then you're SOL.)

Gotta spend cows to make co--- oh damnit Uralda. (Followed by not-worth-screenshotting Engarna "qq need moar farmers".)

This is why I still put points in War. This is why you
always put points in War except maaaaaaaybe your first couple years (and then you probably just don't raid offensively either). Still spending an extra point for insurance though.

I figured "Hey if it goes well, we probably win; if it goes so horribly he dies, it gives us a chance to slap that Vingan on the ring. Win-win!" Still sorta glad it turned out to be the former though.

And victory!

ahahahahahaha not even spending magic on you losers

Ferena's still only Very Good at Combat yet though. At least "fight bravely" is generally a relatively safe option, and it sounds like she got out OK if ineffective.
At least we still killed more of them than they did of u--- oh damnit I could swear to god I capped the results screen. (We lost but they didn't make out with much and, like I said, killed and injured way more of them than they did us.)

NO STOP THAT I DON'T EVEN WANT TO COWLARP (unless you guys say I do!)

Jerernalda, a young woman of the Enhyli, comes to you seeking refuge. "My father, Varsens, chief of the Enhyli, insists that I marry a man who dishonored me. I am not so foolish as to demand that I choose a husband, but I will not wed a man who should be outlawed. Will you protect me from this unjust marriage?"
1. Adopt her into your clan.
2. Offer to marry her to one of your high ranking men.
3. Offer to marry her to one of your young men, though not one of noble rank.
4. Send her on her way.
5. Take her back to her father.
The girl is right. The fact that her suitor has dishonored her outweighs her clan's rights to choose her groom. (2, 3)

If it comes to a feud, we can beat them.

There's something this girl reminds me of... Oh, what's the word? It's so annoying, sometimes I can get the words out, and other times they just don't --- don't...

The Enhyli clan is prosperous, it would be bad to jeopardize our chances of trading with them. (5)

Her clan will be slighted if we aid her, and obligated to us if we return her to them. (5)

Heinvar Humaktskin dishonored the daughter of Advar Hard-Mouth. To avoid a feud, he married the girl to Humaktskin, and thereby caused a worse feud with Clan Damasti, which sheltered her. (4)

There is something behind that girl's eyes that I quite admire. (2)
Well it's good to know that Jonrik's probably just prematurely senile after all, and not a duck-murderer. Though if y'all still wanna sack him for that instead, I'll gladly oblige.
