Oh yeah, that reminds me. I'm changing my theme again because I kinda picked SSBB by default after wanting to move away from the MMBN game, but I was never really into it.

So I'm changing my game's flavor again - I'll be hosting Revolutionary Girl Utena Mafia. Apologies in advance to anyone that wants to see gripping storytelling, I'm 100% in this flavor so I can see how many dick jokes I can make.

Because of overwhelming support the moment I brought it up in irc, I decided my next setup I'm using will be "Choose Your Own Mafia Anonymafia" where you sign up as a mafia game from motk's past!

Btw, i'd like to change my mafia flavor to Gensokyo Paranoia. Or maybe leave it as an altrnative to Big Lebowski, since i have both setups ready. BL is 12 people setup which is closer to classic and GP is 16 people setup and it's a role-madness shenanigans.

The on-hold queue is pretty big and it's really annoying. If people want to get some time to prep their game then that's fine but you can't hold a top-priority spot indefinitely. There should be a ruling on that, 2-3 games tops or something.

That's why when I first said it to just move my game down a couple spots on the queue, I'm totally fine with that (not even on hold, just 3 spots down the queue or however many games you fit in the holiday season+1 to cover AGDQ)

I think if you've been holding onto a "On-Hold" slot for some arbitrary amount of time that depends on how I'm feeling at the time, I'll reinsert people 3 games down the queue at request rather than having their game run next or something.

As for people that fail to ready up even after being reinserted into the queue, so I'm basically thinking of people that say that they'll reenter the queue except they don't actually have their setup properly prepared yet and hoped to finish it in between games, I'll probably just drop them back to the back of the queue.

Because I mean, to be honest, disruptions to the mod queue are pretty annoying. Especially so when it's because the setup isn't ready and you generally have over a year to get it ready upon entering the queue. And then it puts pressure on the people immediately after you to be ready etc. etc.

I mean I'll think up a proper way to deal with it eventually but for now I'm open to ideas and whatnot.

I am willing to host but under the current circumstances (FreedomTurkey Day weekend) I would not be opening signups until next Monday.

If no one has a problem with that then consider it done.

CF7:Knowledge of flavor is never required! (Let's ignore the Night Spirit thing from the previous game, that's the only time it's come up in the 3~4 years I've been playing here and probably shouldn't have been a thing)

Besides, think about it, we've had plenty of write-in anonymafia games on here before, this is not a new concept! (Moriya Shrine Revolution, Psycho Prophecy, Villains Anonymafia)

I don't think this needs to be complicated. "Putting your game on hold gives you 3 games before yours gets dropped from the list" and people on that queue right now can report their status or whatever. If someone knows they can't host a game in <insert timeframe> they can make it known in advance and it'll be fine.
