Started WataMote the other day and, with all honesty, I have not been this excited about a currently airing show since Higurashi (I wait until completion for 90% of what I watch).
Speaking as someone who has dealt with sometimes-crippling social anxiety for years, Tomoko is immediately relatable and believable. The absolute high she achieves in the first episode over such a minuscule accomplishment absolutely exists, as does the crushing doubt after one bad encounter. I dig the spartan presentation and style of the animation, it adds to the loneliness. This show is probably going to make my top yearly list.
The ED is great but the OP is pure hot garbage. I've never heard of Kiba no Akiba but they should like a really shitty version of Maximum the Hormone.
To all those who don't like WataMote: you probably don't get it, and that's a good thing. That I relate to Tomoko so well can't be healthy.
