I really hope Lovie Smith resurfaces somewhere this year. I'm also still unsure how I feel about Ron Rivera continuing to be our coach next year. He's been great for our defense, but offense? He decided to YOLO and go for it on 4th and short ~~more often~~ all the time when he was afraid of getting fired and it just happened to work.

Sprained PCL, so they say he may be able to play in the divisional round due to 2 weeks rest. Otherwise it's Ginn/LaFell/Olsen/Hixon (get well soon Steve ;_;)

Can't motivate myself to draw a picture for the Super Bowl. Don't particularly care about either team, or about any Toho character comparisons with either team.

That said, I predict the Seahawks will destroy the Broncos, and I will feel bad for Peyton Manning for approximately 15 minutes.

That went more or less exactly as I expected. And now I'm alone in my room in Seattle, wearing my Packers jacket, listening to the wild cheering and honking of car horns as the streets outside fill with Seahawks fans.

I think Peyton Manning did reasonably well. His interceptions were about 10% Bad Decision and 90% Holy Crap That Seahawks Defense. He lost to a much better team, and he's still an all-time great even if he never gets another ring. The Seahawks were on fire, and I don't think even Aaron Rodgers could have beaten them tonight.

And that concludes my 15 minutes of feeling sorry for Peyton Manning. I'll buy a gift for my project manager at work tomorrow (he's from Denver). Now I'll feel sorry for my Packers as well as the Bears who might never get to another Super Bowl for the entire duration of the Russell Wilson And Colin Kaepernick Era.

I did draw a picture while watching the game, but it had nothing to do with the game.

Reddyne, Tojicakes and I were at Chateau d' Gandalph/Murein for the game. We switched back to playing Perfect Dark on XBLA right after the Jermaine Kearse five-Bronco-defenders-think-tackling-is-overrated TD about three game minutes before the end of the third quarter. It was definitely the right decision.
