Anyone else watching this? I didn't see a topic for it.

Anyway, i find it an interesting show. Basically, the devil is gets defeated by the hero, and as a result, he now lives with his demon general in an apartment while he works at McDonalds.

Seen two episodes, seems pretty amusing. Will definitely keep watching. The "hero" is oddly unheroic.

I looked at the manga and was disappointed this wasn't a Maoyuu Maou Yuusha spinoff. But it seemed funny enough. I'll check out the anime later.

4th episode out, it is like a Maoyusha comedy skit instead. at least for the first part. Emilia's story will be a bit more dark tho.

Ente Isla fantasy language = English with consonants replaced?

I think I've figured out about 90% of the whole Ente Isla language. Basically take all letters except AEIOU and LNQ (so BCDF etc.), reverse the order, and place them back in like so:

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
　　　　　　　　　　　↓
AZYXEWVTISRLPNOMQKJHUGFDCB

This will give you:

Human -> Tupan
World -> Foklx
Majesty -> Pasejhc

Or something like that. I still don't know what's going on with the letters that don't move around, so I'm not 100% sure on this.

Looks like names don't translate, and "I" is still used in first person.

I figured as well, interesting language encryption but I am pretty sure this is one of Da Vinci's tricks. or am I wrong?

My apologies, a true Da Vinci trollanguage would be something like He wrote the entire language based on consonants without vowels, replaced the entire alphabet order backwards as above and wrote it backwards while writing in cryptic poems.

I find this episode very entertaining, if only because we get to see OL Hero Yusha Emi, this is very easily cosplayable and I think I would get to see this and a thousand Mikasa and Sashas this year end. I should probably aim to do Alsiel, because lol Cho-Maou is too hard. That was also easily the hardest fist known to man.

Considering that heroic barbarian class fella was literally murdering Alsiel back in Ente Isla, he sure is calm facing him on Earth...

Hah. Didn't even realize the language was just that. Interesting

But the whole having a different language thing really struck me. Even if it's simple, making up a language always seemed to be a more western high-fantasy thing to me.
So it was interesting to see it used here. Wonder if the Light Novel has the same sort of thing?

That aside this show is great. Gets better with every episode I reckon.

Betting money at this point their return to Ente Isla will mark the betrayal of the Hero to join Maou in an epic turn against the church.
Suzuno will be torn to decide between what is loyalty and what is right
Alsiel will be given a choice, turn against his lord with Lucifer or risk death in an untimely situation, his prize will be lordship in place of Maou in Ente Isla
The Hero will rip up the old allies, causing her former allies to unite against her
They will then join her when they are convinced of Maou's sincerity

It's been about 3 or 4 episodes. It should resolve soon, judging by recent developments.

I love this series, it's such a nice reprieve from all of the middle/high school stuff I've been watching lately. I like that the seifuku in this series is kept to a minimum, and Chi-chan's is adorable.

Emi makes me cringe sometimes though. She is soooo mega-tsundere it hurts sometimes.

Well, at least that's what I've read online. LN translations are not very far, so I can't confirm, but people who have read ahead said that developments between Maou and Emi were missing
