Does giving more cows increase our status with the clan that the woman's wedding into, or in general (as in, that bar that marks our reputation as "King")?

Anyway, literally all of our interesting ladies are Uraldans and thus would be mediocre Engarna replacements if anything (or are Ferena who doesn't really care much about this quest's stats :V), so I'm guessing we're not going to Feed the Stats to the Quester and Janerra's fine to go off and quest here. (I did make a save here first just in case though.)

The people have gathered their magic to help propel Janerra into the realm of the gods, with the assistance of 30 Blue Spruce.

Thus myth begins with an attack on Ernalda by an enemy, which causes starvation within the Storm Tribe. She goes on a journey to recover Barntar, Esra, and Uralda, the lost gods who will enable her to feed the tribe. What benefit does Janerra seek from this heroquest?

1. Bring back a treasure.
2. Increase crop yields.
3. Make peace with the elves.
4. Make the cows healthy. (wut. this ain't CowLARP.)
5. Reconcile the grievances of the carls.
6. Strengthen the quester.

And yes I will have the myth posted by update time tomorrow so y'all can consult it for LARP guidance.

Any idea of just how many different factors go into calculating how well a raid/defense goes? The Elkenvali war bands consistently seem to be comprised of osteoporotic old ladies with knitting needles, the Zenthorings can pull off the occasional upset, and we'll get steamrolled by other groups.

As soon as she appears in the realm of the gods, Janerra is attacked by a cackling, skeletal figure. It is Daga, god of Drought.

1. Convince Daga to mend his evil ways.
2. Fight back.
3. Leave the realm of the gods.
4. Run away.
5. Suffer Daga's blows.

The very start of the myth said that Ernalda was drained of her power, which I think means she gets hurt somehow. A fight is a good way to do that.

Janerra knows that many things which seem to be dead are really just hiding in the earth. Daga has dried up many things, and so the usual holes in the earth are gone. Janerra needs to find a new way of making a hole. So Janerra goes to Ernalda's grandchildren, the Aldryami, and asks them for one of their seeds. The elves are reluctant to help. "You abandoned us, Ernalda, and joined our enemies, the meat-men. These meat-men, this new tribe of yours, they are forest-killers. And those who kill forests kill us."

1. Convince them you are no traitor.
2. Leave the realm of the gods.
3. Offer them a gift of magic.
4. Remind them that they are your grandchildren.
5. Tell them that Daga's drought will affect them, too.

The myths are actually kinda crap for this whole quest when you don't have the deeper secrets. (But really the Daga question doesn't get better even then.)
