I timed out lunatic Catwalk. (Vengeful Cat's Erratic Step IIRC)
I then proceeded to capture it my next time facing it.
And the time after.
And the time before that I survived 2 waves before dying on the third, meaning if I was shooting for the first 2...it would have been 4 consecutive captures

Finally! After 193 photos, I captured DS scene 5-3! That gives me 31 scenes cleared. Thanks again to Mesarthim/Kokkuri for the replay.
Other recent clears: 5-4, 5-6, 6-4, 6-7.

I know I was going to stop at 30, but I just couldn't have that damn scene haunting me anymore.

This will likely be the last time I post in this thread for a while, as UFO Normal awaits... :ohdear:

Thanks to the Satori Rush patch, I've managed to time out nine cards in three days.

NINE. In three days. Normally I'm happy if I can get one a week!

I'll be spacing out the uploads a little bit, but wow, I am feeling really impressed with my skills right now.

I reached a silly goal of mine. Scoreboard filled with 9 digit scores.

Still learning, refining my technique. I need to learn to dodge super fast bullets that appear right in front of me amid swarms of crap that prevents me from seeing clearly.

LNB, had a good performance overall. capped books, NMNB patchouli. died to killing doll like an idiot, but eh. it happens. capped a fairly difficult meek. then remilia happened.

I suck at this game. I'm not sure if I want to record and upload it. I'm really sour about dying twice to meister and gensokyo each. oh, and thousand needles which should never be failed.

EoSD Hard no-bombs clear.
I know it's nowhere near as impressive as a LNB, but still, I've been trying to get this for months now, so it's quite an accomplishment for me.

I died to Flower Dream Vine and to Meiling's last, at which point I considered restarting.
Then stage 4 was 1MNB, my up arrow got stuck during Mercury Poison.
Then stage 5 was 1MNB too, with the mandatory death to Killing Doll. My best performance for this stage so far.
One death to Thousand Needle Mountain, and THREE DEATHS to Scarlet Meister. :colonveeplusalpha:
Followed by a (mandatory) Scarlet Gensokyo capture.

(no way I'm doing this on Lunatic :V)

edit : also got a PCB Hard no-bombs clear.

UFO Lunatic MarisaB clear! And that's 6/6 shot types done. Funnily enough, I went into Byakuren 4/4, and actually lost 2 full lives on Byakuren (so I had 2 unused bombs for each life) and still managed to clear. I don't know how I managed to do that. And finally, I'll finally get to stare at this when I play the game.

Ohhhhh yes.

And of course while I'm toiling away at this, the rest of the community goes and progresses by leaps and bounds. Seriously you guys are amazing.

You convinced me to do the same thing, except for hard. Marisa B was the only thing holding me back from that magic red circle. Went into Byakuren with 3 lives and 2 bombs (2 deaths in the play were idiotic MUST GET UFO deaths). Captured her third and sixth (surprisingly since I had 1 life no bombs to do the sixth). I can finally rest in peace and never touch Marisa B again. I hate that shot type so much since it has no redeeming features.

I also somehow caught Kogasa's first spellcard. That never happens generally.

UFO Lunatic is beyond me.

Maxed out the life counter in DDC Easy. I think we have another UFO-level resource game.

At least, I reached 8 lives (screenshot), which may or may not be maxed. Not sure if the 9-life glitch from UFO/TD is fixed or not.

not necessarily. remember that in the TD trial, the amount of life pieces you needed for each extend stayed the same, but raises in the full game. I imagine it being the same with DDC. I wouldn't call out on the lives you can get just yet. marisaB needs some nerfing regarding that, though.

Stages 1 and 2 NMNB'd of course.
Stage 3. Ouch. It's hard. So far can only capture her first spell.
Full demo down to 2-miss Lunatic 1cc so far.

Have experienced slightly with scoring in my 2-miss run. Still not sure on where to go to improve it. Oh well, I guess I'll just follow what everyone is doing until someone posts a run scoring more than mine, then I can look into that.

You missed out on some cool grazing.

The fairies at ~0:23 give you lots of graze if you stream a few pixels under them (stream right with the first one, kill the first one right before the second fairy starts firing, stream left with the second fairy).

Stand right under Cirno during her nonspell to get a lot of graze when she shoots the icicles (you need to get out of there right when they spawn, which isn't TRIVIAL but shouldn't be hard). If you're good you can graze every time she fires them, not just the easy first one (no jellybeans).

The first stage boss's first spell can be grazed by circling around her. The first, third, fifth, etc.. waves are easy. I think the even waves are impossible unless you're Marisa, and even then it's iffy?

I don't even know how much graze helps score in this game but nothing of what I just said would have hurt your run.

That is, of course, provided that ReimuB scoring is nothing like MarisaB scoring. It was as repulsive as a TD replay to me. I hope that's just her being broken. :ohdear:
