Interesting method for the spell which seems risky for me but you're probably comfortable with it so I don't think it's the methods fault, just a silly out-of-the-blue death.

I actually find your method of doing Needles of Yore really wacky and inefficient (looking at your MarisaC run since your ReimuA one trivializes it). The wheels on Lunatic aim slightly to your right, so macrododging the first wheel to the right and then making your way back to the center means you don't even have to think about where the wheels are going. Since you're moving left they'll all end up harmlessly passing on your right, and concentrating on slowly moving through the needles becomes way easier.

I've always had a feeling that the way I do it was kind of not the best way, and watching a few other people there definitely are better, faster, more efficent ways!

Although, I've gotten used to this method, I'll probably keep using it for a little while longer sadly... will probably put in time to learning a better method when I get back to scoring I guess since it's kinda dangerous the way I do it, especially with Marisa shottypes (I do believe the MarisaC No-Bomb run crumbled on it!   :blush: )

If you really only needed 32 attempts at Sanae to beat this stage, then holy shit, great fucking job (especially with all the captures!).

However, if you want to present Touhou to your class, I kinda question the choice of a 14-minute stage. Something like a Lunatic stage 1 or Normal stage 5-6 probably sounds better for that purpose, especially since you probably want to talk about the series and show other material.

Did some playing today. About 3:30 hours. In that time i mostly dicked around with some DOJBL practice and a bit of EoSD Stage 6 practice. Why is Eternal Meek by far the easiest spell in that stage except Remi's second card? I don't get it, i thought it was supposed to be really hard. I at least get a lot more of a beating by her other cards. In particular Scarlet Gensokyo and Meister. I like those two cards though so i don't mind.

The accomplishment of the day is improving my NB runs of MoF and SA back to back. Played a credit of MoF and got a 6 miss clear without bombs. Deaths were Stage 3 stage portion, Nitori's final card, Aya's first card, Kanako's first card and VoWG two times. Really sad about that Vowg failure. I handle it so well in practice but it seems when it counts, i choke on it. I am not sure what to do about this except try to get better at controlling my nerves.

After talking things over with my husband, i immediately got bored and decided to play a random SA credit. No restarts allowed because seriously, this 10 year old girl is busy and she can't the fuck be bothered with restarting just because Yamame wants to be noble. Nor will she hold herself back from playing retardedly in Stage 2 because the level is so awful that it ruins people's brains and forces them to try and do weird stunts for no reason instead of just playing it safely like a normal NB run would.

Then I reached Satori and she kicked my butt entirely without permission and she violated me 3 times so I was afraid i might lose the run. But then i manage to do a NMNB Stage 5 run. I did accidentally time out Orin so i didn't get to face catwalk but I don't actually know which of the alternatives between Catwalk and the pelletspam for the longest possible time is the worse one. Utsuho went okay. I fucked up her first card stupidly, believing i could kill it off quicker than i could. Thus causing my innocent little body to become even hotter than it was before.

randomly reached scarlet meister on one credit (hard) despite almost never playing EoSD ever; ft. perfect stage 3 and a decent amount of other captures (mercury poison, emerald megalith, all stage 5 spells but killing doll, YDL, needle mountain). also books capture, but my comp was lagging 2/3s or so through it. died on perfect freeze though :V
didn't deem this replay-worthy but overall I'm satisfied. why can't MoF and SA ever go this well?

EDIT:  I managed to unlock both stage 5 and 6 in SA for stage practice in the same run (although not on the same continue). Only needed 2 continues for each as well.
