>Noted. Rin agrees quickly. Well, 'least not without some warning.

>Pull our mind back, if we haven't already
>Take a few deep breaths and try to steady ourselves

>You had instinctively recoiled a little when you felt the woman's stomach lurch, so you finish retracting your senses.
>Sucking wind, you are grateful that you chose to breathe through your mouth. The reeling sensation was bad, but you swear the smell of the expectorate is even worse. Gamely, you suppress a gag and steady yourself on your feet.
>You all right? Rin asks quietly.

>How are we feeling?

>With the connection between you broken, the sensations of sickness and unbalance are rapidly dissipating. You'll be right as rain momentarily.

>I'm okay. Now that I'm... away from her, I think.
>How does the poor woman look?

>Rin seems pleased. Well, did it work, at least?
>So far as you can tell, she looks miserable. But then, people often do after violently emptying the contents of their stomach. But she does at least manage to straighten up, with obvious effort. The blonde miko next to her releases her hair, and produces a pink handkerchief to wipe the woman's face.
>On the upside, unpleasant though it may be, vomiting does have the upside of removing the offending substances from the stomach. By the looks of it, that's small comfort to her now, but it'll take at least a bit of the edge off the hangover, at the very least.

>I am... I am not entirely sure. Maybe a little?
>Give the woman a few moments and see if she seems any more coherent afterward

>The woman's cheeks bulge once and she slumps again, but she does not expel any more fluid. You are grateful for that, you have to admit. Some of the smells you experienced beneath the CRA were bad almost beyond definition, but that vinegar and grease vomit isn't all that far behind.
>The miko offers her a sympathetic smile, and then offers you an apologetic one. As if to say, 'I warned you.' To the woman, she says, quietly, "You okay?"
>The blonde groans, then mutters something that could have been a sentence. She emits a rumbling belch then tries again. To your ear, it sounds like she's saying, "I'm never drinking again."

>"No, I imagine not. But I'm sure you're in good hands here."

>"Haaaands?" the woman draws the word out, before narrowing her eyes again. For a second, then they unfocus and her head sags once more.
>"And you'll be feeling better once we get you home." the miko says gently, trying once more to coax the poor youkai's home information from her.
>The woman mutters something before trying to get a better look at you once more. You get the impression that, much as you were not long ago, she's trying to figure out if she knows you.

>"Do I remind you of someone you know?"

>The woman's only response is to stare harder.
>"Everyone knows who you are, Byakuren." Rin asserts.
>The youkai's head tilts sideways at the mention of your name. She makes a noise that could be someone thinking, then shakes her head slightly. And immediately grimaces at the motion.

>"Home?" she asks, sounding like she's never heard the word before. Poor woman.
>"Where you live?" Rin offers.
>The woman lets out a long breath and closes her eyes in thought.
>I ain't seen anyone this wasted in years. Rin muses. She gonna have a headache for days.

>I wish there was more I could do for her, but I am uncertain about trying a second time.
>Give her a few moments and then attempt to ask the question again

>I wouldn't. your kasha cautions. I saw how ya staggered before. If ya try again, ya might end up wasted yourself.
>The woman audibly strains as she probes her memory. As she does so, a familiar looking miko approaches the pair of blondes. The burly form of Lilian the alligator (or crocodile, you're not entirely certain) youkai steps onto the bridge from the direction of the parking lot. "Everything okay here, Kamitsure?"
>The ponytailed miko nods cautiously. "I think so. Our guest here drank something that didn't agree with her, so I thought it best to take her home to try and recover."
>Lilian sizes the woman up, then hmms an affirmative. "Good call." Turning her attention to you two, she inquires, "I gather that you two ladies did not partake?"

>"No, we were just passing by, but she seemed in such bad shape that I found myself concerned for her as well."

>"Aren't you a good heart." the reptilian miko lightly teases you, but the smile on her face shows her sincerity. You note a faint expression of pride on Rin's face, as well.
>"And what were you doing out this way?" the blonde shrine maiden called Kamitsure asks her sister miko.
>"Had to break up a bit of a rendezvous out by the bus stop." the lizard pronounces the long word a bit strangely, enunciating the 'zee' and the 's'. "Nothing wrong with a lay here and there, but there's still kids about." Kamitsure nods approvingly.

>"Buh..." the inebriated woman starts. "Bla... Bla- Black. Black? Black...."
>"Blackwell?" Lilian guesses. "Blackwell road?"
>The winged blonde responds with a series of syllables, most starting with 'B', but the tone is generally in the affirmative. A moment's thought dregs up the name in your memory. Unless you're mistaken, that particular road is not all that far from here. Walking distance under normal circumstances, if you're right, though that clearly isn't an option in this instance.

>"'We?'" She asks.
>Rin, looking similarly curious, echoes her sentiment, "We?"

>"Of course not." the blonde miko replies, soundly mildly offended. "But there's no need for you to accompany me, guests. Situations like this are the responsibility of the Water Tortoise mikos to resolve."
>"Especially when one of 'em causes it in the first place." Lilian adds with a toothy grin.

>"Offer's appreciated, lady." Lilian replies, with a tip of her imaginary hat. "But Kamitsure's stronger than she looks. Ain't that right, sparky?"
>The blonde miko draws herself to her full height. "Haven't I told you not to call me that." she intones, a statement more than a question.
>"Sure. But you lost the game later."
>Kamitsure grumbles audibly, but diverts her attention back towards her charge, whose head seems to be drooping again. You've been around enough drunks to know that, usually, after vomiting like she did, most drunks tend to start nodding off. The act of vomiting is a taxing thing under normal circumstances, let alone when one is as wasted as she is. It tends to consume what little energy a drunk has left.
>She does, however, make one more effort to fix her eyes on you. With partial success. She manages to lock her right eye on your face, but her left eye seems to wander a bit.
