This topic was about favourites since its first incarnation. Just read "favourite" as "best in your opinion", since any such questions are a matter of opinion anyway.

PoDD's. Music's so good it was covered in IN. Plus, I only let the credits roll after a 1cc, so it's especially sweet for me each time it plays. Or so I recall.

EoSD's still holds a special place but at a distant second. Would also give a nod to LLS's if Crescent Dream had been used, but it was ZUN'd: "I was going to use this for the staff roll. It's not STG-esque, though, so I threw it out." Too good for Toho.

EoSD's is my definitely favourite, it really delivers the "You've won! Relax and bask in achievement~" feel, like you've overcome a massive trial and can finally stretch out to feel the sun on you~

PCB's is close up because it was my first 1cc ever and gives me really fond memories~

SA is naturally one of my favourites too, but it's quite biased :derp:

PoDD. it simply has the most satisfying credit scene I have ever felt. it's probably tightly linked to its difficulty. I shouted out cries of joy during it ebcause fucking chiyuri 1cc etc. it has less to do with the crdit theme (which I like regardless).

if I went for music alone, It's SA. favorite credit theme in the series. but it doesn't give me that feel.

Yeah, PoDD's. Favorite game, most satisfying, etc. I also don't get to hear it as often as I used to since I tend to destroy myself in the name of scoring. This is a good thing. The 1cc is once again a rarity. Something to be hoped for rather than expected, snatched from the fire and brimstone.

PCB and IN's credits are the only ones I have more than vague memories of. PCB probably wins this one for me since it was the first credit roll sequence I witnessed and I like the music, but frankly, I don't care about the credits.

Anyway, it's time for a new question, but I cannot think of a good one at the moment, so somebody else may ask.

Which boss has the best set of spellcard names??

That boss that you think that her spellcard names describes best her personality, attacks or just her history?

Personally I like Yuyuko's spellcards names, for me she is the "progressive metal" from the Touhou Universe, each spellcard name from her tell us a bit of her background, also these names sounds pretty badass.

Actually, I'm fond of Futo's (TD) spellcard theme. It's like she's telling you her story through them. I know nothing about her historical basis, but those names alone give the impression of an ancient Japanese epic behind them.

LLS Reimu. I have a much harder time with Marisa, yet everyone says Reimu is supposed to be the hard one.

To me, though, it's more a matter of individual boss patterns than bosses as a whole. For example, Satori's Princess Undine card was one of my personal easiest timeouts, yet everyone says it's supposed to be horrifyingly hard; I just don't see the issue with the card. But I can't say Satori as a whole, because I struggle badly with Border of Wave and Particle for some unfathomable reason.
