>Let's stop it with a burst of Dark Energy Chains, and backpedal as we do so! And while we're at it, cut off the shadows we're creating that aren't our armor.

> You repel the claws with some chains of dark energy, which explode on impact, and leave your own sphere of darkness.

> You see the white eyes look at you outside your own sphere of darkness, before the entire sphere re-forms into a far larger figure than the Shade originally was.

> Now you have a clear look at it, it's a horrible creature. It's arms are thin and long, dragging the huge talons along the ground. It's legs looks muscular, and it has deamonic wings. It's face is little but an intimidating sphere, with glowing white eyes, and a slasher smile. Before it was about the same size as a fairy, but now it's human-sized. It's like a twisted imitation of a human's shadow.

> Mokou unleashes a stream of hellfire upon the creature, which unleashes a hiss of pain before it leaps away. Rika shoots a group of explosives from a weapon she is holding, hitting the beast in mid-air, but neither attack actually seems to harm it.

> Keine sighs, and suddenly, with a look of immense focus on her face, encases herself in a flash of light... it almost looks like moonlight...

> After the momentary flash, something you really didn't expect to see is there.

> Hakutaku Keine
> Wait it's not a full moon

>"I thought you were always in control when you changed, though. that there wasn't a second you. And how does that equate to being able to change whenever you want, anyways?"

> "I'm half human, half hakutaku, and while I was in control, the transformation was involuntary. I had no control over when I would be in this form. Besides, I found something. Did you see the glow?" Keine says, puling out a stone.

> "It's a Moonstone, a stone containing the energies that the full moon gives off. I use it as a catalyst, so the transformations are no longer involuntary, which allows me to take this form as I please. I'm still forced into it on the full moon, but I can access this power when I must now, on demand."

> The shade rushes at you , but Keine gets between you and it, touching both of you, and forming a strand as she pushes the shade back.

> "This is the history of you and this shade. I'll destroy part of it... ah yes, this part." Keine says, before she smashes the strand.

> Your wounds heal, and the shade shrinks back to fairy size.

>"Whoa, must be serious about this then. Time to up my game!"
>Let's finish forming the Dark Armor, and be sure to protect all our vitals with it. "Alright, Shade. Let's see who's the stronger creature of Darkness! This sword, forged in Makai, will cut you down!"
>Let's focus our energy into Unified Chaos, then release it in a swing towards the Shade!

> You focus your energy into the sword, which begins to let out a humm, and swing a blast of energy at the Shade from it, in a sword-wave. Unlike with Mokou and Rika's attacks, the shade actually evades, at a pretty high speed. The energy the sword released disperses, and returns to you. You feel like it recycled about 90% of the energy, you assume the remaining 10% was lost as the attack traveled.

>Let's lash out a net of Dark Energy Chains from every shadow in the area in an effort to entangle the Shade in one spot.
>Then we'll blast it with another Sword Wave!

> You unleash a stream of dark energy chains at the shade from all the trees shadows that you can, an omnidirectional net.

> Rika touches her spanner to one, and sends through a stream of electricity as well, a current, as you gather energy in your blade.

> The shade starts to struggle free, but that's stalled when Mokou punches the shade with a fist coated in flames, which doesn't seem to actually hurt the shade, but does stop it struggling for a few moments.

> Keine puts both of her hands together, holding a spellcard, and with the declaration of 'Ameratarsu' unleashes a blast of light at the shade, causing it to howl in pain, just as you finish gathering energy, and unleash your sword-wave.

> The attack hits home, and the chains explode when it does. The howling gets louder, and when the light and explosions fade, the shade is gone, nothing but small black wisps, quickly fading, remain.

> A figure comes down from the sky. She seems rather lady-like in her appearance.

> "Oh dear, it appears it's starting to happen already. I must hurry warning everyone of the calamity that is coming..." the figure says.

> "I am Iku Nagae, by the way, envoy of the Dragon."

> Hearing this, Keine instantly bows to Iku, who chuckles.

> "I'm hardly some deity that should be bowed to. I'm just doing my job, warning the denizens below that danger is coming."

> "Maybe, but it is not my duty to pry into the matters of the Celestials." Iku says.

> "Reimu maintains the Hakurei Barrier. This is unrelated to that." Iku explains.

> "A Celestial is a type of immortal. To become one you must have fought off the Shinigami that came for you at the end of your lifespan, unless, of course, you were born into a Celestial family. The only ones who can slay a Celestial are the underlings of the Yama, and, frankly, she's stronger than all of them."
