>Chuckle. "That's Gensokyo for ya. She could probably have even resolved that Titana Incident a few days back if she could get close enough to let one of those infamous headbutts off."

> "Kukukukukuku~" Rika chuckles.

> This gets Mokou's attention, and she asks Keine who's with you.

> This causes Rika to tense up, as if she knows what danger she would be in if Mokou realized who she was.

> "Just Rumia's girlfriend." Keine replies.

> "I'm no-one girlfriend!" Rika protests.

> You identify eels. You also identify what appears to be some herbs that are not spice. In fact, these herbs are herbs that are known to relieve the 'afterburn' of spice. They do little for the initial load, of course, because it's as the herb is chewed, and takes item to cancel out the spices.

> You're mildly surprised Utusho thought of that. The menu did say the whole thing was according to the suggestion.

> You brave it and bite. The first thing you get is the flavor, spices take a few seconds to kick in usually, after all. Then, after the flavors, the spice kicks in suddenly, and your mouth feels like it's on fire for a second, before it soothes, and leaves a good aftertaste. It's almost like a short nuclear explosion of spice.

> "I'll remind you this is a public place." Keine says with a sly grin. Which makes Rika turn a shade of red with what she's suggesting you said.

> You must admit, you didn't expect Keine to be poking this much fun. That said, it doesn't seem like she like Rika much anyway [And you can see why], so she's probobly just joining in the trolling just to annoy her... almost like you'd expect her students. In fact, she probobly learnt how to tease so well from being around children so much.

===

Side thing that I've been thinking about but dosen't actually effect the plot; the levels of power between the 'mage' characters. Note this is not in danmaku, it's their actual magic.

Daiyousei is at the bottom, but she's still apprentice-level, so it's understandable. She's a White Mage.

Marisa, without her Hakkero, is actually only just stronger than Daiyousei, and is the weakest 'Black' magician in Gensokyo.

Next is Patchouli on a bad day. Patchouli, as stated before, is a 'Black' mage.

Not far from Patchouli [Ill] is Marisa + Hakkero and Alice without her Grimoire. Alice is actually 'Red' mage, she doesn't specialize in either White or Black Magic. Her magic is also drastically different from other mages, being focused on her dolls.

We get Seiga a fair amount ahead of those two. Seiga is clearly a 'Black' magician, with her magic being almost entirely offensive, except for her magic based around creation of Jiang-Shi.

Just ahead of Seiga is Patchouli when she is at her full power.

And not far ahead of Patchouli is Alice, when she's using her Grimoire.

In terms of pure magical power, Yuki and Mai are stronger than the main trio of Gensokyo. However, they are not good at danmaku. Mai is slightly weaker in raw power, but is smarter about how to use it, so they're even. Both of them are 'Black' Magicians, being daemonic.

Remilia is also an exceptionally powerful magician, with her Blood Magic. She is multiple times stronger than Yuki and Mai, and combines her magical might with her physical might and speed. Remilia's main weakness is that her magic doesn't serve that many purposes, it's either a simple, yet brutal and swift, offense, or used for illusions.

In terms of magic, Yuuka is very powerful. Yuuka is actually a white mage, although she very rarely actually uses her white magic, and just Sparks things if she gets into a battle of magic. She sometimes calls her magic 'Green' magic as well, being mostly nature based. Note that Yuuka doesn't just use magic to fight, however. Her real power comes from a combination of her magic, physical power, and very personality.

Just ahead of Yuuka is Byakuren, who only really has magic when it comes to fighting. She's the epitome of a White Mage, and very few can even hope to dent her defenses. She has very few offensive spells, instead focusing on buffing herself to extreme levels and beating down with magically-boosted might. Note, that Byakuren's power is amplified by her own support magic, meaning her power is drastically lower if she hasn't had time to prepare herself. If Yuuka fired a Spark that caught Byakuren off-guard, she's be powerless, however, if Byakuren knew it was coming, she could actually block it, albeit, with a large amount of effort.

The strongest magician in Gensokyo is Mima. She is the epitome of a 'Black' Mage, and has mastered the incredibly powerful Celestial Magic, which she claims to be 'The ultimate Black Magic'. In addition, due to being... well... dead, Mima can perform attacks that would be suicidal for others, using incredible amounts of power. Mima's destructive power is extreme, to the point that her two ultimate spells 'Supernova' and 'Black Hole' would obliterate anything within several miles. In addittion to her raw power, however, Mima is cunning, and her magic spells can cover almost any purpose. Of note, however, is Mima is completely inept at White Magic. About the closest she gets is using someone else as a focal point of one of her spells. Of course, when you're already dead, you don't need to worry about defending yourself.

However, even Mima pales in comparison to Toyohime and Yorihime, who, in sheer magical might, are equals. Even without calling upon gods, Yorihime's power exceeds that of any mage in Gensokyo, although she prefers to just use her powers and her sword skills, her fire magic is exceptionally powerful. The one more likely to attack with magic is Toyohime, who specializes in Earth and Water magic. Toyohime leans towards White magic, while her sister leans towards Black.

However, there is one mage that far exceeds everyone on this list combined with their magical power. That, of course, is Shinki, who's magic literally turned her into a Goddess. Shinki can basically do whatever she pleases with her magic, even create life. Her reserves of magical power are so great that she can run a whole dimension with it, and still suffer insomnia from her own power levels. When Shinki claimed in Rumia Quest 2 that she could destroy Gensokyo, she was not kidding, destroying even the whole of Earth would not be a challenge for Shinki's magic. Of course, Shinki also knows the most famous quote from Spider-Man, and very, very, very rarely uses her power for destruction, and even then, only uses what she must.
