>"We've all been there, certainly."
>Have another grape or two, and wait for Rin to seem to be basically done herself, then:
>"Well, I think I will take my leave now; there are a few things I'd rather attend to before it gets too late. Thanks for the delicious meal, as always."
>"Nothing wrong with pally tanks, but ya gotta know what you're doing. No matter what class you're using."
>Munching meditatively on the fresh fruit, you and Nitori idly discuss the mechanics and balance issues surrounding the various tanking classes, while the kappa bemoans, yet again, the lack of a Shamen tank spec. You smile patiently at her nerd-rage. Nitori very much enjoys her shamen, but she does wish badly she could do everything with it, like druids can.
>Rin also asks about Patchy's jewelry, which has yet to be seen by the rest of you. Turns out they were gifts from her aunt and her grandmother for her 16th birthday back in February. They are evidently old trinkets used by mages of the Knowledge family some years back, though whatever magic was in them has long dissipated. Patchy, however, seems fairly certain that, one day, she can restore them. If her eventual skill matches the unusual passion with which she speaks, she may very well indeed.
>You also take the opportunity to ensure the others that you've recovered from your fall the other day. You knew they were all worried, but you were somewhat surprised by the fact that it was Patchouli that asked first. The girl isn't insensitive, you wouldn't say, but she's not the type to show her concern. And Nitori questions her on it, and Patchy, unsurprisingly, gets a touch flustered and denies her overt worrying, but doesn't really fool anyone.
>After Rin pushes her plate away and you've both finished your tea, you announce your intent to leave. "You're more than welcome." Minoriko replies as Orin stands up after you.
