Hmm, I'm not exactly sure what Canus is hoping to get out of this conversation. Is he still on the fence about whether to invade? Does he think the information Higan has will be enough to make up his mind?

(RanQ and IkQ established that they can - I'm just checking to make sure Kisume knows it's an option.)

I think the guy is genuine. I don't think he'd be asking how to send his best agent alone to the land of the dead otherwise.

Yeah, but... there's no way he can get the information he wants without letting them know about the potential for invasion, which is a significant shift from his previous position, so that's good. It may also mean he has no reason not to let us go home.

Also, assuming the documents exist and they support what we've been saying, he will cancel the invasion ... which I think means we should be thinking about how to solve the Yumemi issue.
