>You conjure then throw some demon fire as Sariel starts to disengage from you, forcing her twist herself back and jerk away more strongly than normal to avoid it, and leaving her visibly off balance and she pushes away with her wings.

>You charge in and strike at the wand before Sariel can recover her balance. The rebar connects with it solidly, and you feel the wand's resistance give way, and hear Sariel cry out in dismay. Then you find yourself hard-pressed to keep balance a dull wave of pain spreads from your back and shoulder. You dimly realize that Sariel jut hit you with one or perhaps more of her wings.

>You ascend as fast as you can, and the danmaku just barely scrapes the side and bottom of your bucket, much too close for comfort. At the same time, you note that Sariel is diving down; you also hear the distinct some of something wooden hitting the floor.

>Kasen is still some distance away, to your right. You aren't certain what she's up to; last you saw she was gathering more danmaku, before you got into that scuffle with Sariel.  The second familiar is behind you, and was the source of that arc which you just dodged.

>You spot the wand as you summon a wisp of demon fire. You fling the fire down at the wand as Sariel dives for it, then look around and see the second familiar behind you about 6 or so yards away and a little bit lower than you.

>You juggle your Length of Rusty Rebar to another hand, then conjure another wisp of demon fire. It sails through the air and hits the familiar, causing it to burst into flame for a moment before fizzling out.

>You looking down, you found that Sariel is pulling her wand from the wisp of fire that you dropped on it. Kasen is flying toward her at top speed; and looking at her now, she isn't looking so well. That exploding bullet must have done quite a bit of damage to her.

>Sariel's wings are large and feathery. You don't know if they are especially flammable or not. You think it's more likely that just some of the pinions would burn away.

I've long considered trying to light her wings (or hair) on fire, actually. I just don't want to do it unless we have to, since it's not terribly sporting by the danmaku 'rules'.

>She didn't seem hurt, but your wisp of fire wasn't large enough to cover the wand and she was able to simply pull it out by the shaft.
