Onthenet's Projects (New stuff :V)

Most of these use the Shot Replace script (CtC version)

Final Last Word - EoSD

Last Words for EoSD characters. Ex bosses will be their own set.

Satori's Random Danmaku Generator - Template

Handy template that lets you make a random danmaku generator simply by adding tasks and changing a few arrays. Includes a few example attacks. My full version meant for playing is coming soon.

Phantasm Nue. It's probably my hardest script yet (so basically it's like naut trying to make easy mode).

DMF Example Archive UPDATE
Heavily commented, meant mostly for people who don't know where to start after reading the tutorials. Updated with Intermediate examples.

Reimu makes a sandwich.
Rate it on BulletForge as well.

Remilia. NEW

The last word cards are easy but then I haven't gotten a replay on China's yet because I fail at survival cards.

I'm not a bad enough dude to capture any of these. At first I thought I would be able to get Gorinto but then it got faster  :V

The danmaku rendition of Miserable Fate is pretty cool, I use that card like crazy in SWR.

With Rainbow's Shadow it's a little unclear where you're supposed to go, you have to pick one side of the stream to go to and one of them will lead to death, unless you can cross that crazy fast stream somehow.

I'm pretty sure (After 10 attemps, all failed) that you do have to cross the stream.
And here I thought at first that it was a poor man's Charming Siege :V

Nah, I'm pretty sure there's always a way you can go where you don't have to cross the stream, I'm just not sure how to spot it.

Rainbow's Shadow is pretty much static aside from Rumia's movements (and she follows you horizontally anyways), so yeah, you just kinda have to learn the pattern. On Lunatic, I'm pretty sure you have to go through the streams at least once (which surprisingly isn't too hard, easier than Kaguya's crisscross Last Spell anyways) unless you're godly at spotting the path though. Since it's a Last Word, you can't expect a 100% cap rate anyways.

Fun fact: Lunatic Gorinto's only difference is that instead of a frame1 = -4; it has a frame1 =-3;. Surprisingly, this is more than enough to make it much much more evil :P

(Working on PCB's Last Words, they'll be even better than the EoSD ones hopefully)

Hope so, capped all except China's on lunatic, which I just don't seem to have the patience for. Can't seem to cap them all (except China's) in one run though, which is unfortunate. Damn random angles dominate me. And, y'know, I'm shitting bricks after capping Rumia's and Cirno's in one go, so I'm shaking for the rest of the cards.

My intent for the Lunatic versions was to make Naut cry.

Mmm, not yet, though these were certainly a challenge. looking forward to your effort on PCB's cast, these were a blast to play.

Nah, I'm pretty sure there's always a way you can go where you don't have to cross the stream, I'm just not sure how to spot it.

There is. You just can't pull it off at wave 3, as far as I know, only because Rumia's too far left. Can't seem to spot it's repeat though, can only get it at a certain angular point.

That's fine though, since passing through the waves isn't the biggest challenge of that card... It's trying not to get nailed by those hard-to-see black bullets while you're passing through the rainbow.

Rumia's Last word is sex by the way. By far my favourite spellcard in Danmakufu.

EDIT:
I love you.

Rumia's LW: beautiful bullets, not very hard
Cirno's LW: great SC also
China's LW: Greatest amongst the six, normal is already more than enough
Patchy's LW: still nice but I think Patchy would not use card bullets after all :P
Sakuya's LW: great and BLUE knives are deadly traps
Remilia's LW: WOW.

Old Patchouli Project was outdated but new one is in progress.

I forgot to post.
Rumia's is sex. Just. Yeah.
Cirno's first half is meh, but the second half makes me hnnnggh.
China's is nice, I guess.
Patchy's is aesthetically awesome but doesn't seem very Patchy-like aside from COLORS
Sakuya's is sakljbkfjsdkfab awesome and the blue knives make you feel helpless. Incredibly Dio-like.
Remilia's is amazing and feels not only like a ZUN card, but like a Remilia card. Fashioned off of StB?

Actually it's about Super Mario World Central, not just Mario in general, It's basically loads of inside jokes plus loleasy danmaku (since most people who will play it don't play Touhou). I'll link to it here when I'm done, but I don't think it's anything that will interest most of you.

Phantasm will definitely not be Yukari, since you know, that's my username on SMWC, and you know, she's the only canon Phantasm boss, and I'm kinda sorta making the game. Um, yeah.

Satori's Random Danmaku Generator - Template

Handy template that lets you make a random danmaku generator simply by adding tasks and changing a few arrays. Includes a few example attacks. My full version meant for playing is coming soon.

Read through the instructions in the first post and enjoy! It is thoroughly commented, so anyone with a decent understanding of tasks and arrays should be able to use it.

Hey you posted it.

Cool stuff.  Like I mentioned before, your approach leads to a much more structured danmaku (as opposed to my chaos doom machine >:D ).

One thing though - fix your #include_function statements.

As-is, they will only work if the user puts the script in the same directory (within the Danmakufu script directory) as you had them in.  It's a simple fix, though:
For each of the #include_function commands that reference one of the files in your script set, start the file name with ".\" and give it a path relative to the main script file.

The two relevant ones in the main script file become:
Code: [Select]
#include_function ".\function\boss.dnh"
#include_function ".\function\array.dnh"

And the one in boss.dnh becomes:
Code: [Select]
#include_function ".\function\timeout.dnh"
This way, you don't have to force a particular directory for the script to work. ;D
to quote Naut:
"I can see the background, there are too many safespots."
:V
