Depends on how many things you feel threatened by, obviously. You need to know what you're doing to make sure you aren't falling too far behind on Power, after all.

But if Trances themselves count as resources, then TD certainly has quite a few (especially when playing as Sanae). Not as many as PCB of course, but you get the idea.

Nah, Touhou 11, Subterranean Animism Lunatic can be pretty much Bomb Everything, No Dodging, like MoF.

At least with ReimuC, where her bombs make this stupid easy (also why I consider her the strongest shottype, over ReimuA, when you take bombs into account!).
MarisaA and to some degree MarisaB (and sort of ReimuB if you really plan things) can also trivialise chunks of the game like this.

I made it to Kanako on Hard mode!

Orin. Fought her. All of this within one run:

- Pacify opener (easy)
- Pacify first spell (not as hard as I'd thought but probably not easy)
- Capture 2nd non-spell and spellcard.
- Pacify 3rd non-spell and spellcard.

All of this without dying or bombing of course. Runs going pretty good. So i consider this an accomplishment. Would have been a bit better if the following didn't happen.

3 deaths to her final. Orin. You are a butt. I had a creeing suspicion that you'd do something like this when i would get a good run of pacifying your spells. You didn't disappoint. Asshat. You owe me big time for this.

Well, this was stupid.
I spent hours of stage practice with ReimuA, then switched to ReimuC and got it at my third attempt by bombing everything remotely threatening... (with a blind stage 6)
Only cool stuff was a 0 power capture of Mt. Ooe.

I'll try with other shottypes later, this game is quite fun (minus stage 3, because lasers).
Now on to UFO and TD ! (or IN Lunatic  :V)

Still having a few problems with Orin's 1st spell with regarding timing it out... but I really have enough replays etc. to work with so hopefully I'll be able to get ontop of it.  Best I've gotten so far was getting it down to 17 seconds...  :ohdear:

This run was really good, entered stage 5 with like 4 extra lives (My previous best was entering with 0 lives and 1 bomb), and since stage 5 is pretty easy I knew I would get this, even though I did horribly at yuuka and entered with only one extra life at stage 6.

Also this was my first time playing stage 6 :V

I guess MS is next but I suck at dodging fast bullets so I bet it'll be a nightmare especially because of Yumeko   :ohdear:

Decided to try 1cc-ing lunatic with all the characters in this game, and after tons of ReimuB attempts where I died at stage 1, decided to try with ReimuC and it was stupidly easy, even though I failed everywhere in the run the game gives enough bombs to still clear :V

I randomly got it down to 10 seconds earlier, but I pulled some of those dodges from thin air. It's annoying that the fairies' bullets are pretty slow, so they stay behind and clutter the screen when you want to switch sides.

I'm making it past Satori on one life much more frequently now. My reading skills still aren't back up to normal, which is really biting me on Orin, but at least I know I haven't lost my ability to capture FIN.

PCB Lunatic No Bombs Clear!
Yay, first LNB of any game. I am very happy. Now I can concentrate on EoSD...
Died 3 times on stage 3.
Died 4 times on stage 4. (3 of which are from post lily spam)
NMNB Stage 5 (again)
NMNB Yuyuko Fight
All done during a stream, cleared with 2 lives, and didn't get the 1000 extend.

Cool! A lunatic 1cc is really quite fun, isn't it?

Made it to Stage 4 midboss, and also managed captures of Parasol Star Memories and King Kraken Strike. UFO is damn hard though and I'm not sure how fast I'll improve since it's pissing me off quite a bit.

Since you appear to be new I'll offer some advice.

1. In MoF, you get tons and tons and tons of bombs. You can bomb your way through every spell on Normal and still 1cc.

2. In SA you still get a gratuitously high amount of bombs. Use them.

3. (Even though this isn't advice) PoFV Hard 1cc's? You seem the most experienced with that game, can't call yourself NOVICE at that.

4. (Also not advice) You say you cleared PCB Easy with Sakuya. Mind telling us which Sakuya? Saying "Sakuya" doesn't do a thing because all that's similar between SakuyaA and SakuyaB are Hitbox sizes, speed, character sprites, and dialogue.

1cc PoFV hard with all characters?    I'd say you've got some good dodging skills built for that, try for a lunatic clear of PoFV!

Ok, got another one down. UFO Normal no focus no bomb. Contains much much fail, but I did capture 5 out of Byakuren's 6 cards, including the final.

Remaining normals for no focus no bomb: PCB, MoF, SA.

PCB has been a brick wall for me since I can't seem to stop failing miserably on the stage 4, the Prismrivers, or boss Youmu.

MoF is like wtf without bombs, especially stage 4

SA is like wtf with no focus past like stage 2.
