'Blind' Lunatic clear of Fairy Wars C2. Really easy route. Nothing too difficult and not many trick spells. Still died a lot of stupid times but whatever. Now I've only got C1 left to clear but I honestly don't feel much like it.

It is certainly a harder route than my first impressions of it had led me to believe. I thought it was just another easy route but Stage 2 on that route is really difficult. Plus the Three Fairies has a few attacks that really rape me due to a lack of understanding them which is another thing that makes it increasingly more aggravating that there's no practice feature so I can stop wasting time on the boring first stage.

Nice fight with Futo, watching your replay now I think that Futo looks like Sanae, her last spellcard is her easiest one ( at least on normal level )

Nice job, good luck with Suwako, she was my first EX clear. Her fight isn't too bad, since most spells have a "relatively" easy trick or path that can make them repeatable.

I cleared PCB instead. I know the run doesn't look pretty with a death against mid-boss chen and a botched up stage 4-6, but...man, PCB is easy.  it always left the impression on being difficult and I have no idea why, now that I played it. I fought youmu like...3 times before this run. I know I only captured half her spells, but still.
what I am really embarrassed about is that I failed reflowering like that. man, that was horrible. I think I have to go back practice on SFN. it can't be that I die on it. that's just....just no.  overall, I captured 14 out of 24 spells. that's more than half :v that's a better average than on my other first 1ccs lol.

anyway now with PCB cleared the only maingames that remain are EoSD and UFO. perhaps PoFV if you count it. and every PC-98, but uh...yeah. reasons. (and GFW for spin-offs, but oh well :v). I dunno about either, really. UFO is fucking hard and I am trying a lot recently, but man...byakuren still rapes me in practice mode and I haven't even touched any other stage yet. and as for EoSD...I have to re-learn that game probably. I haven't touched it in months. TILL NEXT TIME :V

and not to say that I am cool because of that or something, but I started this run at 2.30 am :v

Thank you, and Kanako's spellcards in extra level looks pretty tough.

The first one isn't too bad if you can micrododge pretty well. The second will take a few tries but it's basically just memorizing a path and the third ond is pseudo-static, just do pretty much the same thing every time and you should be fine. Just try not to be too stubborn like I always am and just play out every run (I always try too hard to do everything perfectly) or it will make things take 10 times longer than they should have.

I have no idea what happened on stage 5. My UFO chain that I have practiced so well just...refused to happen. I swear the UFOs were completely different colors than normal, which has never happened before. Oh well, it all worked out.

I was considering posting this in the fail thread instead, but, well, fuck.

I just tried playing Byakuren's stage no-focus.

For starters, I perfected the stage portion while waltzing through the bullet fairies and summoning a good amount of UFOs, but that's kind of plausible.

I was close to capping the SECOND nonspell, third spell and DEVIL'S RECITATION, by a SLIVER OF HEALTH. The former and latter I have a capture rate of just about 5/100. (I'm assuming as much for the nonspell)

I got the third and fourth nonspells too, as well as Superhuman, in which I pulled some crazy vertical dodging.

All without focusing even once.

I know when I get lucky. This wasn't one of those times. I just straight up dodged that shit.

Too bad LFS is a brick wall. I would be considering NF UFO Lunatic otherwise.

e: Oh yeah, I remembered that Butterfly exists halfway through. That was a fun trainwreck.

Focus mode is the root of all evil. I think that when you refuse to use it, you end up make some dodges that wouldn't have occurred to you otherwise.

So yeah, go for that no focus run. At the very least, you'll learn from it.

First clear of any route on lunatic, somehow managed to have 8 lives to spare.  This is the strongest clear.

I should have cleared this a while ago but didn't have the motivation due to Stage 1/2 failures, but Cirno Day allowed me to push through that and do...this.

Zil, I always thought the root of all evil was In's deathbombing system :v but yeah, being too used to focus will screw you up bad. just a week ago I failed a PoDD run because i couldn't focused and were too fast for me to dodge :v it was on easy, too, so I can see where you're coming from.

my first EoSD 1cc on lunatic. I am surprised myself, but man, that was awesome. even though my spell-capture rate in the 2nd half of the run decreased extremely, I didn't exactly do horrible. I got used to the "first clears don't look pretty" rule, so I don't mind. and the only one where I really didn't manage to capture anything was remilia :v I did well against scarlet gensokyo, though and game close to capture vampire illusion. and young demon lord :v lol

but yeah, this only leaves UFO as a main-game. and a whole lotta spin-offs. it's ridiculous how I can clear every other main-game, but game over on stage 4 in UFO - in a good run xD

Just managed to beat Patchouli without dying with Marisa A. If that sounds a bit lower caliber than normal, note that I tried for MONTHs to do this the first time. At max rank Marisa A Patchouli is an absolute killer. >_o Bombed her first two spell cards, but somehow managed to survive her last three.

Watched it, you are awesome!! I bet it feels amazing to achieve a WR.

Have you tried slipping through the rings in Minoriko's first spell as they make the last pause before expanding? Maybe it's useless if you still have to wait for another wave to get the most faith.
