Totally random stab at timing out VoWG, after having not played it in ages. Pulled through with only 2 deaths, which isn't too bad. It would take more than my current skills, deteriorated as they are, to get a second perfect time-out anyway.

Anyway finally cleared Stage 9. Oh and regarding Let's Play Double Spoiler, I'm going to skip to Stage 9 because I've seen Stage 8 so many times it's not even fucking funny anymore.

After two years of not that much practice, i passed Windows Normal at the first time without continue. It was Ten Desires obviously. I had my best around 140-160kk, then i tried yesterday and I gained 170, then 200, then I passed the whole game finally with Sanae with 220. I tried this with Reimu too, and I finished with 270 and all spellcards captured without the Miko's last one.

I hate Swimming Shot so much right now.

I could've captured the card with 404 shots taken but NOOOOOOOOOO instead kill me while I was taking shot five.

Anyway, Stage 10 of Double Spoiler is now clear. Compared to 9, Stage 10 was mediocre, the entire stage's shot pool not even 1/3 of 9's requirement.

I think I finally finished designing my LLS route! Just need to run through it with savestates now to see if it'll meet my score goals :>. Then some practice for consistency, and finally the full run!

EDIT: Yep, it's all perfect. Just gotta do this in a real run now...

Almost made a blind 1cc of Fairy Wars Route C1. Is this route supposed to be really easy or something?

Anyway, made it to the spell where the three fairies fires aimed fireballs at your position that split up into random bullets in all directions. Only that, a non-spell and two more spells to go and I would've won.

Though, i didn't know what to do about this spell so it claimed a few lives. Midboss claimed lives due to stupidity too. Will clear this route later.

Double Spoiler Stage 10 is up

Just cleared Double Spoiler Stage 11. Ass Cards of the Stage are 11-3 and 11-7, which are practically the same only 11-7 is more asinine than 11-3. A video should be up tomorrow since I will be at school :V But for now, processing!

Nice progress Esu. Inspired by your efforts, i decided to go for a playthrough of Double Spoiler too. Also since I forgot to move over my score.dat file from my old computer so i kinda have to make a new one.

Right now I've been playing for 36 minutes and I've made it to Level 7. I don't know if that's fast. It probably isn't. Iirc i was at 23 minutes when I reached level 6 which for some reason took a long time. I might be remembering that part wrong.

Also, throwing it out there that 6-5 is a badass card.

I made it to Level 7 in 34 minutes in my all scenes RTA (final time 2:27:30 or so), so you're not too far behind that :V

Said run also reached Stage 12 nearly an hour later, and finished it just under 2 hours in.

I should do another with the goals of subbing 2 hours. But 9-6, 9-7 and EX-5 exist........

Hey guys, been a long time since I posted anything here, prolly like 3-4 months lol. My laptop finally gave out at the end of the school year, and since I got my new comp I hadn't played Touhou that much until about last week. Since then, I had a couple breakthroughs.

Cleared SoEW Normal: This achievement makes me appreciate the focus key SO MUCH
Cleared LLS Hard (like 2 days ago): For some odd reason I had the desire to try LLS hard and randomly cleared in one try. Odd that I also cleared normal on my first try when i opened the game the first time.

And now for the reason I actually decided to make a post.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. I DON'T EVEN.

I was messing around with IN normal trying to score 2 billion. After almost managing it (even with 3 of Kaguya's Last Spell rush failed). I decided it would be a laugh to attempt Lunatic. After derping around stage 2 for a while, the above happened, and I really don't even know what to think right now. It's been almost 2 years since I first got into Touhou (IN was my first one) and I guess it's only fair that the same game was my first Normal, Hard and Lunatic 1cc, though it wasn't the first Extra I cleared because Fujiyama Volcano. I still kinda think it was an out of body experience because I had only reached Kaguya 1 other time in an actual run, though I had done a small amount of spell practice. Anyway, I guess it's time to start working on the rest of the Lunatics then. I am now re-motivated to play Touhou due to this miracle of a run (but I will definitely be playing GW2 a lot as well). Any suggestions for my next one? I'm thinking MoF because of the vast availability of bombs but am considering EoSD because I like it a lot and TD because I've actually gotten to the stage 5 boss before.

Anyway, sorry for ranting but I guess I'm just pretty psyched about this. Congrats to anyone else's achievements I have missed in my detachment from technology.

PCB and MoF are both good targets next, I'd say they're about equal in difficulty but for different reasons. If you choose the latter, just make sure to practice VoWG beforehand. <_<

That sounds cheesy, but EoSD Hard 1cc.

I probably managed it thanks to clearing four of Patchouli's spells somehow, not to mention a perfect stage 6 up to Remilia. I even had enough resources left over to derp thrice in total and lose five bombs. Which isn't something to be proud of. But I still am.

On to the fifth in line - Ten Desires!

Lunatic C1 cleared :toot: I think this was also my first perfect run of Stage 1.

(Extra slowdown is due to Sunny's second non-spell and Luna's first boss spell)

Things didn't go so well after Lily White, but I did manage to capture Luna's purple flower card for the first time. Having previously lost a run to Fairy Overdrive, I learned the hard way that it's best to save a bomb for the last non-spell: one well-timed bomb will clear it, but it can easily claim two lives otherwise. At least this version of Luna's first boss spell is actually possible :V

PCB Extra Stage cleared without Dying, Bombing, or Focused Movement, capturing all spellcards using ReimuA.
Derped one border during a non-spell, though, so it's not truly up to par with my other run.
But according to the uploader, the only one of its kind with this shot type

Finally got Hard 1cc on TD! 5th one down. (4, 7, 8, 9, 13). Somehow did it with 3 lives leftover after only even making it to stage 6 once before.

I took the photos at the wrong time and the blue and green bullets overlapped eachother.

Another EoSD Hard 1cc here.

I thought I would use MarisaB for this one (because Master Spark and "easy" Patchouli fight), but Reimu's speed really makes ~~going through walls~~ micrododging easier.
Still died a few times with bombs in stock and finished with 0/0, but who cares...

So, EoSD and PCB cleared ; guess I'll go back to banging my head against VoWG :V
