Lunatic B2 cleared :toot: I did decently well in Stage 2 but made a lot of mistakes in the beginning of Stage 3 that I thought would cost me the run. Still, I managed to make it through the last fight with relatively few resources like I did with B1. Just the C routes now.

Since I was without internet for a little bit, I also timed out "Heaven Spider's Butterfly-Capturing Web"

@Above, your first four should be EoSD/PCB/IN/MoF. TD Hard is a sizable jump in difficulty from TD Normal.

I'm not too sure if that's much of an achievement though :ohdear: considering the whole ReimuC+Autobombs things makes everything, regardless of difficulty, stupid simple...
But there, the Ultra patch gives you the option to use it, and so I've beaten the game on Ultra Lunatic, mwuhaha. :V

PCB Extra Stage ~ Perfect No-Focus!

3 or 4 one death runs before this one. Maybe I'll do the same for Phantasm.

Also I cleared SA Lunatic today. (like 4cc)
Died 4 times on stage 3, still lots to learn!
Kind of relieved that I only need 1 life for stage 6 if I plan out bombs.
Will be getting the 1cc sometime this weekend and move on to UFO.

Ooh, Orin and Shou are the hardest stage 5 bosses, and if you don't actually know her patterns, she's definitely the hardest. In my opinion, she's even worse than Shou.
The stage 6 boss isn't quite as bad as Byakuren though. If you've done UFO, it probably won't irritate you more.

Congrats to all UFO clears! That game is very beastly...

As for me,

I finished clearing UFO extra with all shot types! Although really none of them were particularly challenging, save for maybe MarisaB. The only other one that gave me a bit of pause was ReimuB because she can't kill the UFOs very well in Nue's UFO cards. During the course of those runs, I clearly remember that several were lost to Danmaku Chimera, and the rest to absurdly silly things or actually somewhat challenging things (basically Nue's last 3 spell cards).

I must say though that I'm not feeling all that motivated to play Touhou anymore after the UFO clear. I know there's a lot left to do, but I don't have an easily visible long term goal to work towards, so I feel a little bit less motivated to do things. Clearing Lunatic seemed like a pipe dream back when I was playing Normal mode, but now... I don't know. I guess I'll try clearing with all shot types in some games, though there are some where I honestly could care less about doing that (EoSD and PCB I'm looking at you, and hell if I'm going to bother clearing IN with them all)

They definitely are different. You can't just waltz in, you have to memorize everything.

LE EDIT: Okay, looks like I overestimated Koishi a little. Her nonspells look pretty manageable (well, more so than Mokou, my only clear)
Those last three spells are madness though. Re-congratulations.
Also surprised you waited until after all lunatic 1cc's.

And indeed, it's different. In the main stages, one can often bomb the majority of tough stuff, but in Extra you'll have to get yourself together and do some epic things before getting somewhere.

I finally felt like continue spamming UFO lunatic again.

Stage 1: 5 tries to get through satisfactorily
Stage 2: 1
Stage 3: 6 continues, 2 at Ichirin
Stage 4: about a dozen, 3 at Murasa
Stage 5: about 20, 4 at Shou
Stage 6: 3 continues, 1 at Byakuren.

Got through LFS first try with 1/0 entering it, so I'm fairly happy about that.

Well, this is another milestone, I suppose. Or maybe not. it's really difficult to say if it is.

what it is exactly is my first 1cc for IN on lunatic. the thing is...it took me 1 1/2 days of spell practice and 2 attempts to clear :v I dunno, it sure took long with MoF and SA. Or even TD, for that matter. it's my 4th for the official games. And I still have 4 to go (EoSD, PCB, UFO and GFW, not counting PoFV or any PC98, who are also missing x) ). Kaguya was a horrible fight. Watch me fail hourai barrage horribly. One can see I have no idea what do to. I probably shouldn't have, but I laughed my ass off at every turn I did. be it successful or fail, since they looked so sluggish and horrible.
the game trolled me, though. 2 cards of kaguya pretty much captured and then it decided to hit me. man...not nice. same for a couple other stuff in earlier stages. like reisen's illusion seeker, Keine's First pyramid and mystia's poisonous moth. I left with 2/1, so I am satisfied, especially since it's a first clear.
Leaving double spark aside, Marisa was awesome. Oh, and the non-spells :v I am horrible at star micro-dodging.

GUYS, I AM TRYING, BUT UFO LUNATIC IS SO HARD D:

next game will probably be PCB. Due to it being easier than the other three. Or UFO, because I am masochistic like that.
