>Where do they usually go after an experiment's been completed?
>Depends on how taxing the experiment usually is, or how badly it backfired. Based on the smell in the air, but lack of any obvious damage or debris, this one, or ones, may have failed, but not spectacularly. Taking that into consideration, you would guess Koa has been sent into the library either to put back the books they were using, fetch new ones, or, most likely, both. Patchouli, for her part, would either be setting up shot in another lab- she has a few scattered throughout the library in isolated sections- or taking a short rest- Koakuma set up several hammocks for her around the lab, in addition to her own chamber somewhere in here. Assuming she's not consulting one of her own books, which is entirely possible.
>Vexingly, Patchy can be rather hard to track down in here when she's working. You've known her to all but vanish for days, even weeks or months, at a time. You've considered putting a bell on her now and then. How Sakuya manages to find her as often and as quickly as she does, you're not certain. Time tricks, certainly.
>Koa, at least, is a bit easier to locate. Unlike Patchouli, who can be quieter than a pious mouse in church, Koa is never entirely quiet, and can be located either by the rustling of pages, the flapping of her wings, or the sounds of her humming, or singing, as she's prone to do. If not all the above.
