>Rub our jaw a little with an amused grin. "Likewise. It's a shame you aren't yourself though, I could rather get to like this more serious you."
>Flare our aura to full force with a devilish smile. "I think I can finally go without holding back for once. This shall be a show to remember! Destiny: Miserable Fate!"
>Reimu returns your grin. "Oh, I think I could be convinced to stay this way for a while. It's turning out to be a real good night."
>As you declare your spellcard, Reimu throws out another one of her amulet forcefields, a bit thicker and wider than the previous ones. Your first chain impacts against the shield, leading to both shattering in bursts of light, but the subsequent pair chains of yours fare better. Reimu tries to get around them, but, as is often the case, people underestimate the speed of your chains. She eats the third chain in all its glory, and you are rewarded with the sound of the shrine maiden grunting, and falling back a step.
>"Now that's a nice technique." she compliments you. "Anyone else wanna try one like that?" she announces in a loud voice.
>"Well, since you asked..." Mystia replies, and produces a spellcard of her own. "Toxin Sign: Poisonous Moth Scales!" A pair of glowing insects appear to her right and below her, and fly up towards, leaving globe shaped danmaku in their flight. These globes transform to purple wedges of bullets that curl and fly in towards the shrine maiden, as the avian youkai fires off a pattern of lavender petals, followed by a line of similarly colored larger globes. All put together, it's a very pretty technique, but it shouldn't be beyond Reimu's ability to handle.
>At least, ordinarily, it wouldn't be. But combined with your own spellcard, things could get difficult even for one like Reimu. Evidently, this occurs to her as well, as the Hakurei shrine maiden gives you both a grin, after grazing some of Mystia's curling wedges, and produces a card of her own.
>"Light Spirit: Divine Orbs!" Reimu extends her arms out to the side and, with a sound like a machine gun firing, dozens of glowing bullets fly out from her, all colors of the rainbow, and remain stationary for only a second before dividing themselves into a multitude of bullets and flying out in every direction around her.
Parser's Box: Before you get to handling Reimu's spellcard, I wanted to address a thing. Miserable Fate, as I wager most if not all of us know, has no danmaku component. So, if you wanted to ADD bullets to the spell, then you may do so at your discretion, or, if you'd like, I can make a danmaku pattern to go with it. The choice is yours.
>Reisen, meanwhile, has circled around the battle field and is now floating with Youmu and Kogasa. "What started all this, Youmu?"
>"I do not know." The samurai replies. "The shrine maiden was dueling this young youkai when I arrived, and requested I assist her."
