>"How did this happen?" Reisen wonders aloud, coming to her feet. "WHEN?"
>Reisen starts to move down the stall and, just as you anticipated, Rei tries to bolt. Which she finds quite hard after you grab ahold of her arm and keep her firmly in place. She doesn't answer Reisen. From the strained look on her face, you're not certain she can.
>"Rei?" Reisen asks again. The fledgling jumps again, but less strongly, but her lips remain tightly drawn. Reisen, puzzled and somewhat alarmed, looks at you inquisitively.

>"Apparently there's some other vampire running about siring more. Rei here said she was turned roughly two weeks ago."
>Sigh exasperatedly, and massage the bridge of our nose. "Honestly, whoever this vampire is needs to learn sense. It's just not elegant to let one's progeny run amok, especially when they can still go wild at the scent of even their own blood."

>"No, I know." Reisen assures you. "But I'd hoped you knew why she was... Well, like this." she finishes with a gesture at the nearly paralyzed Rei.
>"There's another vampire in Gensokyo?" Youmu asks with a start, jumping to her feet again. Jumpy, isn't she? "Where is it? How powerful is it?"
>That's all you need, a gung-ho samurai half-ghost to go with the headache you're already getting.

>Reisen appears thoroughly confused now. "Me?" she wonders aloud. "I can't think why..." Her thoughts revealing nothing, she turns her attention once more on your fledgling prisoner. "Rei, are you alright?" Reisen reaches out and touches Rei on the shoulder. Rei's face blushes red as a tomato, she emits a sound like a tire deflating, and, without warning, faints. Slumping atop your shoulder, no less.
>"Ddn'tno vimpires f'nted." Wriggle mutters around a mouthful of noodles.

This seems to alleviate her worry somewhat, and then she answers your question, "Well, I didn't know her too well. I met her a couple of times in the village. We have a clinic there now. She came in to pick up some medicines for her mother. She didn't say much, but she seemed to me to be intelligent, very curious. I could tell she was analyzing things when she looked at them."
>"The last time I saw her was about three weeks ago. Said she was going exploring." She frowns. "I guess she found more than she bargained for."

>Sigh. "Yes, well, they don't usually blush either."

>"So, this is rare for vampires?" Reisen asks you. "Will she be all right?"

>Chuckle. "You know, she actually managed to copy my Servant Flier technique after seeing it a mere two or three times."

>"Although, now that I think about it, she was quite happy about being a Vampire when I questioned her on how well-adapted she seemed. I do wonder why?"
>"To be certain, we have longer lives than most anyone, with the potential to live well over a millennia, but the downsides are rather bothersome. I doubt the poor dear would even be able to last more than three minutes in direct sunlight. Though she does have the potential."
>Chuckle amusedly. "If her sire has no desire to teach her properly, I may well end up doing so. She's got quite a bit of talent for a youngling. I do wonder if she would be capable of copying other techniques as well? Though I doubt that the ice fairy's techniques would be of any use, she seems to have picked some up pertaining to that one."

>Reisen seems about to object, but Ritsuko cuts her off. "Reisen eats for free for a while, actually. Mystia feels she owes her after she chased off an overly amorous youkai that didn't seem to recognize the words 'buzz off'."

>"Mystia disagrees." Ritsuko replies with a light smile. "And she's the boss of this little piece of the wood."

>Reisen sighs a resigned sigh (one which you think she's sighed many, many times before) and returns her attention to you. "Thanks for offering, anyway."
>"I don't know exactly where Sakuya went, Master guided her to a couple of places. She mentioned the Myoren Temple as a start, considering it's the closest to here. But she also told her about that mind reader that lives in the Underworld, Satori Komeji. Sakuya didn't mention which one she'd visit first, at least not that Master told me. But she DID say that Sakuya mentioned swinging by the village first. Probably to see Keine-sensei, but I couldn't say for sure."

She thinks for a moment before adding, "I don't think I'll mention this to Keine, though. She won't be happy about one of her old students becoming a vampire." She gives you an apologetic look. "No offense."
>Reisen nods at your question. "I have some smelling salts in my medical kit, actually."

>Reisen smiles. "Of course." The rabbit looks down at her hip, and her eyes flash a reddish light for a moment. A lavender colored leather bag appears on her hip, with a large red cross lying atop a crescent moon stitched into the side of it.
>"Neat trick." Wriggle remarks.
>Resien's face, for a moment, becomes an expression of long suffering. "I had to at least try to keep Tewi from pranking it." From her bag, Reisen produces a small jar which has a fairly pungent scent to your nose even sealed, and a pair of light blue capsules, all of which she offers to you. "The pills are for headaches. Just wave the bottle of salts under her nose, it should bring her around in short order. Although," she adds with a note of caution in her voice. "I've never treated vampires before. I don't know if there will be any side effects. Or any effects at all, for that matter."
