>Kids these days...Don't they know that when one who is their elder wishes it, they cannot do a thing to stop it?
>We'll keep our temper in check for now, this troublesome child is our only lead.
>Sigh annoyedly. "Very well then, we shall investigate the northern location that Sakuya was last seen at."
>Let's head for there then.
>Perhaps she simply doesn't realize the full scope of your greatness. She IS quite young. And that may be part of the complication, as well.
>New vampires often have a deep, natural connection to the one that turned them, at least if the turning is mutually consensual, or the fledgling is receptive and welcoming of the change. They can sometimes even be irrationally devoted to their sire. It's possible that Rei is simply psychologically incapable of doing anything she may think could threaten her sire, if these were the circumstances of her change. Overcoming this obstacle can be a difficult, and often damaging process.
>But one thing at a time. It may not even come to that, depending on what kind of vampire Rei's sire is. You're certain you'll have the chance to learn this for herself, one way or the other. After you track down Sakuya, of course. She's reason enough to hold your temper.
>Rei nods. "That, I can do."
>Taking the lead, Rei heads off in roughly the same direction you were traveling before you noticed her trying to make a meal out of Wriggle. The firefly youkai falls in just behind you, true to her word, her eyes are fixed on Rei's figure.
>Her flight eventually takes you along a very familiar stretch of woods. This is the same path that you and Sakuya flew along during the False Moon incident. You start to keep an eye out for that night sparrow, Mystia again, just in case she's feeling rowdy. But after several minutes of flight, that particular youkai does not reveal herself. But there is something different here than the last time: a decent sized wooden stall, lit by a pair of paper lamps on the ends of the awning. The long wooden bench in the front of it is occupied by a pair of forms, a short haired girl with a pair of swords, wearing a green and white outfit, with a white blobby-thing floating around her. It's been a while since you've seen that half-ghost samurai... Youmu, that was her name. Her companion in the black jacket and white skirt has very long violet hair and rabbit ears- it's the lunar rabbit you battled at Eientei during the False Moon incident.
>"Oh, it's open now." Rei comments. "I've only ever been by here in daylight, and it was never open."
>"That's Mysty's stand." Wriggle supplies. "She doesn't open when the sun's up. Hasn't found anyone wants to work that time yet."
And yes, I'm presuming that Youmu and Reimila never fought in the fighting games, but if I'm wrong, do correct me. I've never played Remi's scenario, nor am I sure if any particular route is considered 'canon' in either of those games.
