>quick reminder, what pokemon do we have on hand?
(it'd be convenient if we were told what pokemon we had at the start of each battle or something)
> Your party contains:
> Kingler
> Charmeleon
> Registeel
> Haunter
> Scyther
> Lucario
>I still think it's good to rest ourselves up before climbing a mount full of potentially dangerous grunts
>Our legendary is our best friend here.
> Your registeel would probably be able to handle this but...
>No no no. Fujiyama is for the extremely strong things.
>And Kaguya.
> You wonder if Fujiyama is overkill.
>Sit back and watch.
>"Hey Mystia! I think you found the dinner's mom!"
> "Dinner's mom looks like a keeper to me!" Mystia says.
> "You'll have to beat me for it!" Wriggle adds.
> You watch Mystia get fried. The smell of grilled chicken fills the air as Mystia gets her ass kicked by the lion. Well, bitten and electrocuted; it looks like the lion-thingy wants her to be its lunch. Wriggle and her wurmple try to get between the two, only for that lion to fry Wriggle as well. The lion has a very ferocious way of fighting, it charges while doing ranged electrical attacks until it's close enough to chomp down and fry the two through it's teeth. The only real advantage Wriggle and Mystia have is it can't bite down on both of them at once. Which the two are taking full advantage of, Mystia clawing at it through bars of her blinding song and Wriggle...
> You aren't sure what exactly Wriggle is doing. She's summoned a number of small, magical lights. They aren't offensive in nature, that lion is charging straight through them with no aparent ill effects. They do look a lot like a swarm of fireflies though; you wonder if they have something to do with her powers over bugs.
> As Mystia's song progresses it's getting harder and harder to see the battle, all you can really make out clearly is Wriggle's swarm of lights and shadows passing in front of those lights. You are surprised that they haven't called for your help once though, since it does sound like they're taking a vicious beating. Probably means they haven't given up yet.
> Funny how greed makes people... er, youkai... people and youkai reckless.
>Fine, let out Scyther instead.
>For unknown reasons, take out the metal film while Scyther fights, this is bound to trigger a plot-vulution.
> Meh, this has gone on long enough. You wonder if you should try to evolve your scyther, Edge, off of this thing.
Didn't we plan to think about this before attempting to evolve Scyther? :|
> You did promise yourself you would think it over first. You wonder about the pros and cons of evolution.
> Pros: Evolved things are stronger
> It'll evolve into a steel type, and those are good
> It'll be weak to far fewer attack types
> Cons: You have a bunch of steel types
> Scyther looks cooler
> You aren't sure how to use the metal coat
1 vote for and against registeel, 1 vote for and against scyther with metal coat, 1 vote for letting Wriggle and Mystia handle it.
