>Eat it, show the youkai the generousity of Mokou

> The four of you have a lovely late night snack (is it lunchtime for Mystia and Wriggle?).

> "Mmm... this is almost as good as tauros burgers," Kogasa says.

>Methink it's a good chance to flex that legendary more, let Fuji out!

> You're tempted to let Mr. yama out.

>"Hey, anyone of you are interested in this one?" pass this chance to get a cute pokemon.

> You end up letting the youkai get first crack at it.

> "Already got one," Kogasa says.

> "Cute thing, isn't it?" Wriggle says.

> "Looks tasty," Mystia says. Wriggle glares at her. "What? It does." You recall Keine mentioning birds eat a lot, something about needing lots of calories to fly.

> Mystia and Wriggle both let out their pokemon.

> "No you aren't eating it. Wurmple, use poison sting!"

> "Be a sport bug boy. Starly, tackle it!"

> "I AM NOT A BOY."

> Kogasa turns to you and asks, "Gonna break them up?"

> You don't really have to, and you're not sure you want to.

>"Nah. Funner like this."

> Wriggle puts Mystia in a headlock, and Mystia's kind of flailing about. "Use string shot!" she comands. Her worm's attack nicks both the mouse and the Mystia's bird.

> "Starly, use peck on Wriggle!"

> "Oh yeah? Wurmple, use poison sting on Mystia!"

> They might be too busy fighting eachother to work on the shinx.

>"Hey, where's the Darkness girl?"

> "Haven't seen Rumia yet. Hey, either of you see Rumia?" Kogasa asks.

> In unison, the two other youkai say "No," before Wriggle expands. "Yukari kind of just dumped us here, with a couple pokeballs. We've only seen you two and Kaguya."

> "And natives from here," Mystia adds. "Hey Wriggle, um, dinner's getting away."

> "It's not dinner. Wurmple, use poison sting!" Wurmple stabs the mouse with it's tail, and it starts crying loudly.

> "Starly, grab it!" The bird lunges at the mouse...

>"Does that pokemon have any evolved forms around here? We might be able to catch a bigger and stronger one maybe later on. or perhaps right now."

...And is shot out of the sky by a bolt of lightning.

> "Yes! Yes it does." Kogasa answers.

>quick reminder, what pokemon do we have on hand?
(it'd be convenient if we were told what pokemon we had at the start of each battle or something)

> Your party contains:

> Kingler
> Charmeleon
> Registeel
> Haunter
> Scyther
> Lucario

>I still think it's good to rest ourselves up before climbing a mount full of potentially dangerous grunts
>Our legendary is our best friend here.

> Your registeel would probably be able to handle this but...

>No no no. Fujiyama is for the extremely strong things.
>And Kaguya.

> You wonder if Fujiyama is overkill.

>Sit back and watch.
>"Hey Mystia! I think you found the dinner's mom!"

> "Dinner's mom looks like a keeper to me!" Mystia says.

> "You'll have to beat me for it!" Wriggle adds.

> You watch Mystia get fried. The smell of grilled chicken fills the air as Mystia gets her ass kicked by the lion. Well, bitten and electrocuted; it looks like the lion-thingy wants her to be its lunch. Wriggle and her wurmple try to get between the two, only for that lion to fry Wriggle as well. The lion has a very ferocious way of fighting, it charges while doing ranged electrical attacks until it's close enough to chomp down and fry the two through it's teeth. The only real advantage Wriggle and Mystia have is it can't bite down on both of them at once. Which the two are taking full advantage of, Mystia clawing at it through bars of her blinding song and Wriggle...

> You aren't sure what exactly Wriggle is doing. She's summoned a number of small, magical lights. They aren't offensive in nature, that lion is charging straight through them with no aparent ill effects. They do look a lot like a swarm of fireflies though; you wonder if they have something to do with her powers over bugs.

> As Mystia's song progresses it's getting harder and harder to see the battle, all you can really make out clearly is Wriggle's swarm of lights and shadows passing in front of those lights. You are surprised that they haven't called for your help once though, since it does sound like they're taking a vicious beating. Probably means they haven't given up yet.

> Funny how greed makes people... er, youkai... people and youkai reckless.

>Fine, let out Scyther instead.
>For unknown reasons, take out the metal film while Scyther fights, this is bound to trigger a plot-vulution.

> Meh, this has gone on long enough. You wonder if you should try to evolve your scyther, Edge, off of this thing.

Didn't we plan to think about this before attempting to evolve Scyther? :|

> You did promise yourself you would think it over first. You wonder about the pros and cons of evolution.

> Pros: Evolved things are stronger
> It'll evolve into a steel type, and those are good
> It'll be weak to far fewer attack types

> Cons: You have a bunch of steel types
> Scyther looks cooler
> You aren't sure how to use the metal coat

1 vote for and against registeel, 1 vote for and against scyther with metal coat, 1 vote for letting Wriggle and Mystia handle it.

>Now let's eat both the large and the small one

> You wonder if lion is a good meat, the mouse hardly look worth cooking in comparison. The creature looks healthy enough, but you regret not bringing ketchup.

>Torch the Luxray and knock it out, then ball it

> You would love to, but you can't see the lion. Mystia won't stop her blinding song, and at this point you can barely see anything besides shadows struggling.

> Actually, torching it would fix that problem. In the true spirit of killing two birds with one stone, you decide to torch in Luxray's general direction.

> You set the tree behind the lion on fire, and accidentally ignite Wriggle's cape as well. She's safe enough, resorting to standard stop-drop-roll measures. Though Mystia is annoyed. "Hey! Watch where you're throwing that!" she says. Course, both the youkais' spells have been cancelled.

> The Luxray has turned towards you. It is pissed.
