>We have a Scyther, right? Let's ask Cirno if it's a wise decision to evolve it.
> "Yes." Cirno says, casting her line. "The only thing Scizor's weak to is fire. Scyther has trouble with fire and rocks and electricity and ice..."
> "Just evolve the Scyther," Cirno says "In case you don't know about Pokemon, Scizor is one of the most overpowered Steel types with Bullet Punch AND Technician."
>Find a Nurse of something, we want to know about the Registeel.
>Explore the boat, by that I mean barging into random rooms, to see if we will encounter anyone interesting.
> You decide to barge into rooms at random, secret-agent style. Unfortunately, there's only the front deck, the back deck, and a small indoor cafeteria-style thing. It has chairs and tables and a small snack shop, but not much else.
> After you finish exploring you arrive at Canalave, and disembark the ship. It is now evening. You head to the pokemon center with Cirno, you note that Cirno caught some kind of blowfish. Keine departed from you, she'll be back from the library later tonight.
> You hand the nurse your pokemon. She says, "We'll need to keep this registeel overnight. You know, this is the first time I've ever seen one of those," and hands back all your other pokemon except the new Lucario, which she deposits into the PC.
>Find a Nurse of something, we want to know about the Registeel.
> "I can't tell you much about registeel; I know they live for centuries, and are very rare. Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are known for extremely high endurance, but you'd need to do some research for details. You're pokedex might help too."
> "Brandon is famous for them. He's an archeologist and a trainer that has the full set."
>I say we don't evolve Scyther because lol looks more badass then Scizor. An we have two steel types already da ze!
> Hm... on the one hand, you do already have two steel types. On the other, Scizor is only weak to fire, while Scyther is weak to fire plus a lot of other things. Still, can't argue Scyther's badass factor.
Don't evolve Scyther yet. Forcing our pokemon to undergo genetic changes for the sake of pure power is something that should be thought out first.
> There's no need to rush into anything. You have plenty of time to think it over. Besides, even if you wanted to you don't know how to use the metal coat to make Edge evolve.
> Evolution is weird.
