>"So they want to lie to everyone on the Moon?"
>"But if they make you do it and you're not happy, wouldn't people notice?"
>".....The people on the Moon are really mean."
> "Sometimes people need things hidden from them for their benefit. Keine lies to the whole human village every day, yet has she caused any harm to them? No." Eirin says.
> "Don't bring up that woman's friend please." Kaguya says, sounding somewhat annoyed.
> "Part of the job is putting on a facade of happiness, regardless of everything else." Kaguya says, "They'll make it so I have no choice."
> "They view Kaguya as an exile as it is. The only reason they want her back is there is no-one else they can turn to. In the past, before our exile, the Royals did have power, but ever since Kaguya was exiled, the power has been siphoned away. I make trips to the moon on occasion, despite my exile, just to make sure of how the moon is doing. Slowly, over the years, the Royals have had their power siphoned away, and now, when it is just Kaguya herself left, and they have no-one to turn to to keep the line, the Council took all power the Royals had and just made it a figurehead. They are not going to allow an exile to have the power over them, but they need her back none the less." Eirin says.
> "You go to the moon when you vanish like that?!" Kaguya says.
> "Where do you think my Apollo 13 spellcard came from? I destroyed something the humans sent to the moon, which may have triggered war." Eirin says.
> "It is not cruelty, it is preservation of order. Lunarians do not die of age. Order is important, structure to lives. It's just the way the Lunarian Society is. It doesn't matter if Kaguya is reduced to a glorified slave to the Council and the Military, in their view, they need a face to hide behind, even if the face is one they banished from the moon before." Eirin explains.
> "They hid my exile from the public as well. They let out that we chose to go the Earth, as envoys of the Moon, diplomats." Kaguya says. "The public don't know I was actually exiled, unless things changed. To them, I'll still be the Royal, and have some power at least.. but in reality... I would be a puppet."
