>Nod. "Yeah, me'n Yukari think she might be hiding out somewhere near the Hakurei Shrine."
>"Come to think of it, I remember hearing someone once say that 'The closer you are to danger, the farther you are from harm'. I don't understand how that works, but I guess she thinks that hiding there is the last place anyone would look?"
>"Anyhow, I'm thinking that if we find Rika, we can bust up that teleporter. Since there has to be one on this end, they won't be able to do anything if this one's broken!"
>Grin. "I think some well-placed Dark Energy oughta make it blow up good."

> Eirin listens quietly.

> "If that's the plan... why did you get dropped off here? Why not near the Hakurei Shrine? Or did Yukari want you to ask us something, or warn us about something?" Eirin says.

>"You know these people best. That's why."
>"Um, who are they, anyways? Yukari didn't tell me that."

> "By these people, I guess you mean the 'two' people everyone keeps mentioning. They are Watatsuki Sisters, Toyohime and Yorihime. Lunarians are already inherently powerful with magic, but these two... are monstrous. Toyohime and Yorihime both have incredible powers as well, and they have multiple powers." Eirin says

> "Toyohime is laid back, and less dangerous, although incredibly powerful, it is Yorihime that is the one to watch out for. She is intelligent, adapts quickly, a master of the sword, and, worst of all, can call upon the power of gods at free will, as if their powers are her own. She is merciless. She sees herself as superior to other Lunarians, let alone Earthlings. If you see a stranger with a sword and purple hair, the only advice I can give is run for your life and pray she didn't see you. If the Watatsuki Sisters see fit to tread on Earth themselves, there may be nothing that can be done to stop them."

> "They DO rule. The Royals are a figurehead. Tradition. Someone to smile and wave and appear at events as a face of the Lunarian Nation. They have no power. The power is held by the Lunarian Council, and the Military. The Watatsuki Sisters are the heads of the military, and therefor, already have power." Kaguya says. "I do not want to leave my life here to be some figurehead for all of eternity."

> "Do you think the heads of the miliary are the most friendly faces? Hiving them do all that would give the impression that the Moon has become a military-run state. They don't want that, even if it practically is such, the public would not be happy, they see the Royals and the Council having the power, but they don't know that the Military is actually pulling most of the strings, and the Royals, none." Eirin explains.

> "The strong ones always hide, as they say. The ones with the power are usually those furthest from the gaze of the public." Kaguya says.

>"So they want to lie to everyone on the Moon?"
>"But if they make you do it and you're not happy, wouldn't people notice?"
>".....The people on the Moon are really mean."

> "Sometimes people need things hidden from them for their benefit. Keine lies to the whole human village every day, yet has she caused any harm to them? No." Eirin says.

> "Don't bring up that woman's friend please." Kaguya says, sounding somewhat annoyed.

> "Part of the job is putting on a facade of happiness, regardless of everything else." Kaguya says, "They'll make it so I have no choice."

> "They view Kaguya as an exile as it is. The only reason they want her back is there is no-one else they can turn to. In the past, before our exile, the Royals did have power, but ever since Kaguya was exiled, the power has been siphoned away. I make trips to the moon on occasion, despite my exile, just to make sure of how the moon is doing. Slowly, over the years, the Royals have had their power siphoned away, and now, when it is just Kaguya herself left, and they have no-one to turn to to keep the line, the Council took all power the Royals had and just made it a figurehead. They are not going to allow an exile to have the power over them, but they need her back none the less." Eirin says.

> "You go to the moon when you vanish like that?!" Kaguya says.

> "Where do you think my Apollo 13 spellcard came from? I destroyed something the humans sent to the moon, which may have triggered war." Eirin says.

> "It is not cruelty, it is preservation of order. Lunarians do not die of age. Order is important, structure to lives. It's just the way the Lunarian Society is. It doesn't matter if Kaguya is reduced to a glorified slave to the Council and the Military, in their view, they need a face to hide behind, even if the face is one they banished from the moon before." Eirin explains.

> "They hid my exile from the public as well. They let out that we chose to go the Earth, as envoys of the Moon, diplomats." Kaguya says. "The public don't know I was actually exiled, unless things changed. To them, I'll still be the Royal, and have some power at least.. but in reality... I would be a puppet."

> "Well, then there would be political chaos, but, then everyone would realize that challenging the power of the sisters is futile, and everything would likely settle down again after a period of chaos, in a new order. That's the thing, however, they want to keep the Lunarians happy with the order they have had for thousands of years. They would rather not the time of chaos and resentment that would be brought, which would risk destroying all the Lunarians have worked for, or at least slowing down their technological growth. Not to mention as the heads of the military, the sisters would just rather pull strings from the background, and keep themselves known for their power, not their politics."

The Lunarian Council, once they make up their minds, are completely resolute. > "It's not possible. I can only make it by virtue of being completely immortal, I basically create a miniature wormhole in space-time, using a device I created on Earth, and is only activated with a drop of Hourai Elixir itself, and traverse that. I die multiple times doing so, and it's very painful... I only go when I absolutely must. It's impossible for the Hourai Elixir to be replicated, because a key ingredient is Kaguya's own power, thus, my method is impossible to replicate." Eirin says.
